Fountain of Youth Jasmeet Raina’s lead character in LATE BLOOMER is trying to look forward, while also nervously looking over his shoulder, in Season 3 of the Crave Original comedy, which premieres with two new episodes tonight. “There’s a younger, cooler, new guy coming up that he’s constantly being compared to,” said Raina in an interview with TV critic Bill Harris for The Lede. “One thing in the influencer space is, there’s always going to be somebody younger. There’s always going to be the new hottest thing. That has been the case in entertainment forever, but it’s whether or not you decide to fall into the trap of thinking like that.” Created by and starring Raina, LATE BLOOMER tells the tale of a 30-something Punjabi Canadian who is attempting to balance his budding career as an online celebrity, his romantic prospects, and the expectations of his traditional family.

Baby on Board Late-night talk shows still have the ability to “deliver” unique moments, as was the case when Aubrey Plaza visited CTV’s LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS this week. Plaza is pregnant, and she shocked the host when she basically asked him to deliver her baby. “May need you to pull it out. That’s why I came here tonight,” Plaza said. When a stunned Meyers resisted, Plaza quipped, “it’s either you or Henry Winkler.” That was a great call-back to the beloved sitcom PARKS AND RECREATION, in which Plaza played April Ludgate. When April gave birth, the baby was delivered by Dr. Lu Saperstein, a pediatrician played by Winkler. To witness the miracle of birth, and much more, PARKS AND RECREATION is on Crave. LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS airs weeknights on CTV, and is also available for catch-up on Crave.
