POWER PLAY Hosts Conservative Leadership Debate with All 14 Candidates, Today Through Thursday (April 3-6) on CTV News Channel

– POWER PLAY Host Don Martin moderates as candidates for leadership of Canada’s Official Opposition party dive deep into policies and plans –

OTTAWA (April 3, 2017)Beginning today and for the next four days (Monday, April 3 – Thursday, April 6) at 5 p.m. ET on CTV News Channel, POWER PLAY hosts a daily debate series featuring all 14 candidates seeking to lead the Conservative Party of Canada. Moderated by POWER PLAY host Don Martin from CTV News’ Ottawa Parliamentary Bureau, the daily debate segments promise an informative and lively battle of wits and wisdom from all of the contenders.

Unlike the traditional format, POWER PLAY breaks up the 14 candidates into smaller groups of three or four debating each day. Allowing for more time per participant, the smaller group format offers the opportunity for a clearer understanding of candidate positions, policies, and plans for turning the Official Opposition Leader’s job into a prime-ministerial mandate in 2019.

Up first in today’s POWER PLAY candidates’ debate are Lisa Raitt, Andrew Saxton, Rick Peterson, and Erin O’Toole.
