CTV London’s Camille Ross Named Weekday Anchor, CTV NEWS AT SIX and CTV NEWS AT 11, Beginning Sept. 10

– Formerly CTV London’s weekend anchor, Ross assumes weekday anchoring duties alongside Julie Atchison for London’s most-watched newscasts –

London, Ont. (August 27, 2018)CTV London’s Camille Ross has been appointed as anchor for weekday editions of London’s most-watched newscasts, CTV NEWS AT SIX and CTV NEWS AT 11. Beginning Monday, Sept. 10, Ross joins Julie Atchison behind the desk following the departure of veteran anchor Tara Overholt, who is relocating to Calgary to pursue other interests.

“Camille is a skilled broadcaster who connects with our strong community of viewers, and I’m proud to announce her and Julie as the new co-anchor team for London’s most-watched newscasts,” said Steve Young, Director of News and Information Programming, CTV London. “We wish Tara all the best in her move to Calgary, and send our most sincere thanks for her 15 outstanding years with CTV London.”

Prior to joining CTV London, Ross spent several years reporting for CTV Montreal, covering a wide variety of stories including violent anti-police brutality marches, student protests, crime, and political scandals. Ross got her start in journalism as a videographer at CTV Yorkton in Yorkton, Sask.

CTV London’s daily newscasts are also available for live streaming on London.CTVNews.ca as well as the CTV GO and CTV News GO apps.
