TORONTO (September 23, 2015) – Royal intrigue, ruthless back-stabbing, and explosive scandals parade to E!, as REIGN moves to a new home for Season 3 beginning Thursday, Oct. 8 at 9 p.m. ET. Joining the one-hour drama as a series regular this season is Toronto’s Rachel Skarsten (LOST GIRL) as Elizabeth, Queen of England, cousin to Mary, Queen of Scots (Adelaide Kane, The Devil’s Hand). In the third season, Mary and King Francis (Toby Regbo, U Want me to Kill Him?) attempt to move beyond the anger and hurt they have caused each other, realizing that they are more powerful together than apart. Still early in her reign, Elizabeth faces opposition on all sides, and struggles to hold onto both power and love.

In the Season 3 premiere, “Three Queens, Two Tigers,” Queen Mary struggles to hold on to her power in Scotland amidst Queen Elizabeth’s campaign to sabotage her with the help of her new ally, the Queen Mother, Catherine (Megan Follows, REPUBLIC OF DOYLE). And with Francis’ fate at odds, and Elizabeth distracted by the temptation of her first love, Robert Dudley (Charlie Carrick, Eadweard), both queens struggle to rule.
