With more than 16 years of experience in broadcasting, Montreal-born Ben Mulroney is an expert in his industry and regarded as one of Canada’s premiere and respected journalists. Mulroney is now in his 15th year with ETALK, a series he has helped develop into Canada’s most-watched entertainment newsmagazine. He is also co-host of CTV’s new daily morning show YOUR MORNING.

 

Mulroney found his calling in show business, not politics, despite being the son of former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney and having a law degree from Laval University and a history degree from Duke University.

 

As anchor and producer of ETALK and co-host of YOUR MORNING, Mulroney delivers entertainment and breaking news daily from the ETALK and YOUR MORNING studios in Toronto, but also travels across the globe to interview the world’s biggest celebrities. Regarded by many Hollywood stars (north and south of the border) as a friendly face and a pro at his job, Mulroney is a veteran of the industry’s biggest red carpet events, including THE OSCARS®, GOLDEN GLOBES®, EMMY® AWARDS, and THE JUNO AWARDS.

 

No stranger to live television, Mulroney got his start as the Quebec City Correspondent for talktv’s The Chatroom in 2000, before becoming co-host on the interactive show in July 2001. He then moved to a new role of entertainment reporter for CTV’s CANADA AM in October 2001. Mulroney was also the host of CANADIAN IDOL for six seasons, which at the time was the most-watched English language Canadian television show on record.

 

Mulroney has also appeared as a contributor for the Weekend Edition of ABC NEWS’ popular EMMY® Award-winning morning news program, GOOD MORNING AMERICA (GMA), and has joined host Kelly Ripa as guest co-host on the popular daytime talk show LIVE! WITH KELLY twice. Mulroney was also a member of the broadcast team for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, reporting on entertainment news for CTV. Mulroney has also covered a multiple political campaigns and elections and reported on The Royal Wedding in London and Royal Tour of Canada in 2011 for CTV. In 2009, Mulroney added radio airwaves to his repertoire, as host and co-creator of ETALK 20, a weekly two-hour radio show that aired on 11 Bell Media Radio stations across Canada.

 

Mulroney is on the board of directors for a number of publicly traded companies, including Dream Industrial REIT and ARHT Media Inc. Highly regarded as one of Canada’s preeminent charitable emcees, Mulroney also hosts a variety of philanthropic events for various causes on a regular basis. He works closely with a number of charitable organizations as co-chair of The Brain Project in support of Baycrest Health Sciences and brain health; is the National Ambassador for Cystic Fibrosis Canada, leading the organization’s Great Strides Walk in Toronto – a fundraising event in support of CF research and care programs; is on the board of The Shoebox Project for Shelters, a national charitable organization whose mission is to collect and distribute gifts packaged in shoeboxes to women in shelters across Canada and to help raise awareness about homelessness; and is a strong supporter of SickKids®, participating in the hospital’s annual Canacord Genuity Great Camp Adventure Walk to benefit SickKids Foundation. Mulroney was also the national spokesperson for WaterCan in 2012, a charity focused on bringing drinking water to those most in need. In this capacity, he helped raise funds and awareness by climbing the highest peak in Africa, Mt. Kilimanjaro.

 

By far, Mulroney’s proudest accomplishments are the roles of husband and father. He is married to fashion designer and stylist Jessica Mulroney, and is the proud father of their two twin boys, Brian Gerald Alexander and John Benedict Dimitri, born in August 2010, and daughter Isabel Veronica (“Ivy”), born June 2013.

As Anchor of CTV’s ETALK – Canada’s most-watched entertainment news program, Danielle Graham’s role and charming personality has put her face-to-face with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars and covering high-profile events both here at home and around the world. In recent years, Graham has interviewed the likes of Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lawrence, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, Ben Affleck, Channing Tatum, Drew Barrymore, David Beckham, Jennifer Aniston, Mark Wahlberg, Tom Hanks, Beyoncé, Adele, Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson, and many more. Graham has made her mark on some of the most high profile red carpets around the world including THE OSCARS® (where she co-hosts the annual red carpet special ETALK AT THE OSCARS), THE GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS®, THE PRIMETIME EMMY® AWARDS, The SAG AWARDS®, the Cannes Film Festival, and Toronto International Film Festival® (TIFF).

 

As an accomplished entertainment journalist, Graham has been recognized by The Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, where she earned nominations for her work including Best Host in a Lifestyle Talk or Entertainment News Program or Series for ETALK PRESENTS: ADELE and Best Host in a Live Program or Series for ETALK AT THE OSCARS. Her work on ETALK AT THE OSCARS and ETALK’S ULTIMATE OSCAR GUIDE has also earned ETALK additional nominations for Best Live Entertainment Special (2017) and Best Talk Program or Series (2017) respectively.

 

Danielle got her start in broadcasting in 2001 as an intern in the CityTV Toronto newsroom, before being hired as a floor director for the weekend news. Graham hosted YTV’s weekly music countdown THE HIT LIST for four years before joining Star! (now E! Canada) in 2005, acting as an entertainment reporter for STAR! DAILY, where she covered red carpet events for the next two years on the daily entertainment show.

 

Graham officially joined the ETALK team in 2007 as a reporter, before she was promoted to Senior Reporter in 2013. Graham became the Co-Anchor of ETALK in January 2015, before officially promoted to Anchor in May 2017.

 

Born and raised in Guelph, Ontario, Graham graduated from Seneca College with a diploma in Radio and Television Broadcasting. When not tracking down the latest entertainment stories or hitting the hottest red carpet premieres, Graham spends her time with her two-year-old daughter, Beatrix. She loves spending time with her family at  home or lakeside at her cottage, being outdoors, cooking, reading, and entertaining friends.

Lainey isn’t looking to impress anyone, especially celebrities. ETALK Senior Correspondent, Co-host of CTV’s THE SOCIAL, and scribe of the immensely popular celebrity gossip blog, LaineyGossip.com, Lainey does what she does for one reason – to provide a gossip education to the Canadian public.

The Toronto-born, self-proclaimed gossip maven got into the gossip game in a very roundabout way. What started as an email to two friends grew to a website with millions of readers from around the world. As friends told friends about Lainey’s non-sycophantic email updates, she received so many requests to get on her mailing list that her server crashed.

 

More than one million readers and Twitter followers read LaineyGossip.com every month, making it a leading international celebrity gossip source. Recognizing Lainey’s talent, she joined the ETALK team in 2006.

 

In February 2010, Lainey reported on entertainment and gossip news for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Leaving little time for sleep, she also penned national columns for The Globe and Mail and Metro newspapers, and appeared daily on Canada’s official Olympic morning show during the Games. Lainey also travelled to London, England to cover the Royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

 

Lainey regularly shares her gossip updates with CTV NEWS VANCOUVER and CTV News Channel, and is called upon as a celebrity expert by media outlets across North America, including CNN.com and the Los Angeles Times. Lainey is also known for her coverage of the phenom book and movie saga Twilight, and has a cameo in D: NYC – Degrassi Takes Manhattan. Lainey’s first book, Listen to the Squawking Chicken: When Mother Knows Best, What’s a Daughter To Do? A Memoir (Sort Of), debuted at #1 on the Globe & Mail bestseller list upon publication.

 

A graduate of the University of Western Ontario majoring in French and History, Lainey lives in Toronto with her husband and beagles. She is a consultant for Covenant House, which offers shelter and services for homeless youth.

Beloved for her outgoing and lively personality, Traci Melchor has been an icon on the Toronto entertainment scene for more than a decade. Vibrant and witty, this Pickering, Ontario native always puts a fresh spin on today’s hottest entertainment headlines, and she continues to speak her mind as co-host of CTV’s THE SOCIAL and Senior Correspondent for Canada’s #1 entertainment show ETALK.

Melchor has years of experience interviewing hundreds of stars, including Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey, Madonna, Denzel Washington, Jennifer Lopez, John Travolta, Channing Tatum, Ryan Gosling, Zac Efron, Jamie Foxx, Dolly Parton, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Janet Jackson. When she interviewed Oprah Winfrey for Lee Daniels’ The Butler, Oprah told Melchor her question made her “salivate.” She recently travelled to her native St. Lucia to interview The Jacksons – Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, and Marlon – and she also travelled to seven countries in seven nights on a chartered jet as part of Rihanna’s “777” tour in support of the singer’s seventh album, Unapologetic. Melchor also covered Michael Jackson’s public memorial service live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, following the singer’s death in 2009, and Joan Rivers’ funeral in New York City in 2014.

 

Before joining CTV’s ETALK as an entertainment reporter in 2008, Melchor contributed to ETALK’s “T’N’T Report” with Tanya Kim, covering the OSCARS®, Super Bowl, and co-hosting one of the biggest events of 2007 – CTV’s coverage of LIVE EARTH from London’s Wembley Stadium. Delivering daily entertainment news hits on CP24, Melchor was named one of the National Post’s “Worthy 30” for her contribution to the television industry. Melchor also contributes regularly to CP24 BREAKFAST, THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW, CTV News Channel, and 104.5 CHUM FM Toronto.

 

Melchor kicked off her career as host of the legendary RAPCITY on MuchMusic, followed by a move to Citytv Toronto as the station’s entertainment specialist. From 2000-2005, Melchor thrived in L.A.’s celebrity scene, guest-starring on hit series CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION and LIZZIE MCGUIRE, and reporting from countless red carpets as the Hollywood correspondent for Star!. Melchor also hosted weekly F.Y.E. – FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT, celebrity profiler EXTREME CLOSE UP, and STYLE VIP. Melchor returned to Canada from Hollywood in 2005 to host MuchMoreMusic, a move that kept her in the celebrity spotlight and plugged into multi-platinum superstars like INXS, Sheryl Crow, and Shakira. Off camera, the graduate of Seneca College’s Radio and Television Program spends most of her time with her twins Phoenix and Phoebe. Melchor loves balancing being a mom and covering the business. From the hair salon, to fashion shows, to reading the latest children’s book, and driving the twins to hockey, fencing, and cheerleading, Melchor’s days are hectic but she wouldn’t have it any other way.

 

A true renaissance woman, Melchor supports various charitable organizations and events including Power of Movement (Canada’s largest yoga fundraiser) benefitting arthritis and related autoimmune diseases, Hospital for Sick Children, Wear White 4 Women, and Sickle Cell Awareness Group of Ontario. During L’Oréal Fashion Week in 2009, Melchor walked in the closing night show, Dare To Wear Love, in support of The Stephen Lewis Foundation.  Melchor also walked the runway at The Heart Truth Fashion Show on March 21, 2013 at Toronto Fashion Week in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation. She returned as a model for the most recent Dare To Wear Love show on March 28, 2014, wearing a dress designed by Damzels In This Dress.

Liz Trinnear - Biography

Liz Trinnear - Biography

After a short stint as a special correspondent for CTV’s ETALK, Liz Trinnear officially joins Canada’s #1 Entertainment Show as an ETALK Reporter. A fashion aficionado and captivating chatterbox with a love for all-things pop culture and entertainment, Trinnear brings her signature style and grounded personality to ETALK.

 

A natural fit for the ETALK team, Trinnear has interviewed some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Adam Levine, Quentin Tarantino, Chloe Grace Moretz, Demi Lovato, Ed Sheeran, Big Sean; and most recently, Will Ferrell, Liam Neeson, and Arnold Schwarzenegger while on assignment for ETALK.

 

Having first developed her on-air personality on Corus Radio, Trinnear began her television career at MUCH – after winning the 2009 MuchMusic VJ Search – quickly becoming a rising star in Canada’s entertainment scene. Trinnear also co-hosted the 2012, 2013, and 2014 MUCH MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS (MMVAs) RED CARPET SPECIAL and hosted MUCH COUNTDOWN and TODAY’S TOP 10. She has also covered major events and award shows, including the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games and JUNO Awards for CTV, Toronto Fashion Week, Toronto International Film Festival®, and MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS (VMAs).

Adored for her genuine enthusiasm and positivity, Montréal native Chloe Wilde emerged in 2013 as the winner of the Much VJ Search and has since brought her fresh perspective and outgoing personality to her role as host of E! in Canada. Most recently, Chloe added Reporter for Canada’s #1 Entertainment Show, ETALK, to her ever-growing resume.

 

Setting the tone for Toronto’s largest street party, Chloe co-hosted THE 2016 IHEARTRADIO MMVA RED CARPET, where she welcomed global superstars such as Nick Jonas, Fifth Harmony, and Gigi Hadid. She has also interviewed some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Julianne Moore, Robert Downey Jr., Kate Winslet, Jake Gyllenhaal, Zac Efron, David Foster, and Tori Kelly.

 

Growing up, Chloe dreamed of following in her grandparents’ footsteps as entertainment insiders – her grandmother was a pioneer in the Montreal Burlesque scene and her grandfather worked behind-the-scenes for a news station. After completing a degree in psychology from McGill University, Chloe’s strong interest for science lead her to pursue a degree in nursing. While in school, Chloe hosted THE DAILY BRIEF, a current events web series for AskMen.com, which reignited her desire to work in the entertainment industry. With a passion for music festivals and concerts like, Osheaga, Cavendish, and Bonnaroo, as well as, musical influences including Kygo, Halsey, Chet Faker, X Ambassadors, and Flume, Chloe ultimately decided to put her nursing career on hold, relocate to Toronto, and start a new chapter in her life in front of the camera.

 

Chloe immerses herself in all-things pop culture and is hoping to one day snag a dream interview with the likes of Meryl Streep, Ellen DeGeneres, Tina Fey, Angelina Jolie, and the cast of Friends, if ever they reunite.

Tyrone Edwards - Biography

With his unique personality, pop culture knowledge, and fluid MC abilities, Tyrone Edwards brings his expertise to Canada’s #1 Entertainment Show, joining ETALK as their newest Reporter.

 

Tyrone got his start in television as the host of RAP CITY, before becoming a host on Much and E!. Most recently, he co-hosted THE 2017 IHEARTRADIO MMVAs alongside Joe Jonas and Alessia Cara. His versatility and enthusiasm has landed him many other gigs, including hosting the MUCH COUNTDOWN, co-hosting two IHEARTRADIO MMVA red carpet specials, multiple WE DAY events across the country, and weighing in as a fashion expert on original Canadian series, CELEBRITY STYLE STORY. Tyrone can also be seen in the TSN original social media series 6IX DEGREES.

 

Having grown up in Toronto’s west end, Tyrone travelled to the U.S. during high school to play basketball at Randallstown High School in Baltimore, MD. From there, a scholarship presented him with the opportunity to attend Hillsdale College in Michigan, where he played NCAA basketball while studying Business and Speech. While Tyrone’s career was taking off in the U.S., his heart was always rooted in Toronto and, in 2005, he returned to the city he loves. In 2007 he helped create the love letter to Toronto that is the 1LoveTO blog, a project that ultimately led him to join Much in 2011.

 

Off screen, Tyrone is heavily involved in his community, acting as a mentor and coach for underprivileged youth. Having once worked as a camp counselor with Toronto Parks and Recreation, Tyrone went on to found Concrete Hoops, a not-for-profit basketball camp that aims to incorporate life skills with the love of the game. He has also been a program leader with the urban youth-oriented Remix Project, an organization which helps kids from all 13 priority neighbourhoods in Toronto learn the fundamentals of the arts and entertainment business, and assisting them in their educational aspirations.

 

In honour of his work as a television host and with numerous charities and foundations supporting underprivileged youth, Tyrone recently received the 2016 Mandela Legacy Hope, Success, and Empowerment Award, alongside Naomi Campbell, and Reverend Al Sharpton.
