TORONTO (June 4, 2026) – Bell Media today unveiled its 2026/27 programming slate for CTV and Crave, featuring buzzy new originals and acquired series, returning fan favourites, live sports, breaking news, and major cultural events – all anchored by comprehensive FIFA World Cup coverage across Bell Media platforms. 

Building on another year of industry-leading momentum, CTV celebrates 25 consecutive years as Canada’s #1 conventional network in primetime, while Crave delivered its most-watched year ever in 2025. Together, CTV and Crave continue to reach audiences at scale with a cross-platform content ecosystem spanning hit scripted and unscripted series, marquee live broadcasts, trusted news coverage, and some of the world’s biggest cultural and sporting moments.

Midseason Premieres

CTV remains Canada’s premier destination for marquee live events, following another standout year in live programming. Bell Media remains the exclusive television broadcast partner of the NFL in Canada. Coverage returns to CTV/CTV2 and Crave this fall, in addition to TSN, with MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, and SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, culminating with SUPER BOWL LXI on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2027.

TORONTO (June 4, 2026) – Following a previously announced development and production agreement, Crave today revealed the first project to emerge from Bell Media’s partnership with Lionsgate Canada and Point Grey Pictures: a live-action drama reimagining of iconic Canadian television classic THE LITTLEST HOBO. The series is produced by Lionsgate Canada in partnership with Point Grey Pictures, Rose Oushalkas and Christopher Dew of New Hobo Productions Inc., and Crave.

This marks Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s first scripted project for the Canadian market under Lionsgate’s first-look television deal with Point Grey, expanding their multi-year partnership and building on their recent collaboration on The Studio for Apple TV. The series recently completed one of the most dominant awards runs in modern television history earning 23 Emmy nominations and 13 Emmy® Awards, in addition to major wins at the Golden Globe® and BAFTA Awards.

THE LITTLEST HOBO represents a new take on the beloved Canadian television series, which originally aired on CTV from 1979 to 1985. Starring an extraordinarily intelligent, ownerless German Shepherd who wandered from town to town helping people in need, the story has resonated with generations of audiences.

“THE LITTLEST HOBO was a foundational show of our childhood. We are thrilled to have the honour of bringing it back for a new generation alongside our partners at Crave. And though the hobo may be little, we promise big things to come. That doesn’t mean the dog will be huge like Clifford. The hobo will still be little. TORONTO (June 4, 2026) – Bell Media announced today that, following a deal with Banijay Rights, the global distribution arm of media and entertainment powerhouse Banijay Entertainment, it will bring future seasons of BIG BROTHER USA to Canadian audiences beginning Summer 2027. With the acquisition of the US series, Bell Media also announced it has ordered a new season of BIG BROTHER CANADA for Crave and CTV. 

From Entourage, the team behind French-language Québécois series, BIG BROTHER CÉLÉBRITÉS, and produced in association with Crave and CTV, BIG BROTHER CANADA is set to begin production Spring 2027 in Montréal. Canadian TV personality Andrea Bain, co-host of CTV’s THE SOCIAL, is confirmed as the host for the new season, with casting details to be announced at a later date.  

“BIG BROTHER is one of the most iconic and beloved formats around the world and we are thrilled to have it take up residency at Bell Media,” said Justin Stockman, VP, Global Content, Bell Media. “Further strengthening our alliance with our production partners at Entourage and distribution partner at Banijay Rights, we look forward to delivering Canadian audiences more of the eventful and unforgettable competitive social gameplay they love with a new season of BIG BROTHER CANADA.”

With the order of BIG BROTHER CANADA, Bell Media also acquires the Canadian series’ back catalogue, with 12 seasons to be available to stream on Crave, joining the extensive collection of French-language series, BIG BROTHER CÉLÉBRITÉS. The French-language series has established itself as a fan-favourite since its debut in 2021, following a deal with Banijay Rights, spawning yearly specials and a successful spin-off. Season 6 of BIG BROTHER CÉLÉBRITÉS on Noovo was the #1 original reality series of Winter 2026 and was the most-streamed show in French on Crave in the same period, amassing nearly 4.7 million views on Crave and Noovo.ca combined. 

One of the world’s most iconic and successful reality television franchises, BIG BROTHER first hit screens 26 years ago in the Netherlands in 1999. Since its debut, over 600 series of the show have aired around the world in 70 markets. The format continues to make a splash globally, with prime-time success in the UK, Australia, Germany and Brazil; long-running versions airing consistently in the US and Italy since 2000; six regional versions each year in India; and a new adaptation in Malta. TORONTO (May 28, 2026) – Toronto’s CHUM 104.5 announced today the launch of an all-new morning show hosted by Nat Hunter and Josie Dye. Helmed by the popular radio personalities, NAT &amp; JOSIE airs weekdays beginning Monday, July 6. Waking up Toronto, NAT &amp; JOSIE bring their energy, hit music, and daily discussions around local stories, trending topics, and the biggest entertainment news to help listeners start their day.

“In August 2003, I took a morning show job in Vancouver, thinking I’d stay a year or two before the offers to host mornings in Toronto came flooding in…nailed it!” said Nat Hunter. “But if there was ever a job worth waiting to come home for, it’s this one. It’s an incredible honour to follow the legend that is Marilyn Denis. And I couldn’t be more excited to build a whole new show alongside Josie, who will no doubt make sure I stop pronouncing the second ‘t’ in Toronto.”

The new morning show takes over from legendary host Marilyn Denis, who announced in February that she’s stepping away from her role with the station after 40 years. Leading up to Marilyn’s final broadcast on Friday, June 26, CHUM 104.5 is honouring her career and legacy with a monthlong celebration full of surprises and highlights from her 40 years with the station.

About Nat Hunter:

Born in Etobicoke in Toronto’s west end, and raised in Burlington, Ont., Nat Hunter went to journalism school, but quickly ended up pursuing the decidedly more upbeat industry of music radio.

She made brief stops at stations across Ontario, before moving to Vancouver, where she most recently appeared as a co-host of MOVE 103.5’s morning show. It only took her 22 short years to make it back to her hometown.

Hunter has volunteered for many years in animal rescue efforts, and served on the board of directors for SAINTS, a B.C.-based charity that focuses on senior and special needs animals.

She lives in Toronto with her husband and her senior dog.

About Josie Dye:

Josie Dye has spent more than 25 years in radio and TV in her hometown of Toronto, and currently appears on CHUM 104.5 as the host of the afternoon show alongside Jamar McNeil.

Previously, Dye created and hosted The Josie Dye Show on Indie88, and hosted a nationally syndicated Top 20 countdown for 102.1 The Edge. Additionally, Dye hosted the TV series Oh So Cosmo for eight seasons, and later became the face of Canada’s W Network.

TORONTO (May 28, 2026) – Reaffirming a partnership that has defined Canadian sports broadcasting since 1986, the Canadian Football League (CFL) and Bell Media announced today a new, landmark rights agreement that solidifies Bell Media as the home of Canadian football across leading properties TSN, RDS, CTV, and Crave. Bell Media and the CFL extend a longstanding strategic collaboration through the new six-year agreement, with TSN delivering English-language broadcasts as the majority partner, and RDS continuing as the French-language broadcast and streaming partner of the CFL.

The multi-year agreement secures an elite lineup of 60 games for TSN, featuring three weekly regular-season matchups, including the key Thursday and Friday Night Football windows, that are staples for Canadian fans. The excitement extends into the postseason, with TSN broadcasting the majority of playoff clashes with six of the eight games.

As part of the new agreement, Bell Media remains the exclusive home of the Grey Cup, Canada’s largest annual single-day sporting event, and the Grey Cup Halftime Show, the country’s largest annual televised concert. The championship will reach audiences across the full spectrum of Bell Media platforms, including TSN, RDS, CTV, and the leading Canadian-owned streaming service, Crave.
