TORONTO (October 23, 2025) – Crave announced today the troupe of Canadian queens set to serve under the big top in Season 6 of the award-winning Crave Original series, CANADA’S DRAG RACE. Premiering Thursday, Nov. 20 at 9 p.m. ET, the nine-episode season features 12 new larger-than-life drag artists vying for the coveted title of Canada’s Next Drag Superstar.

 	After surviving a serious car accident in her teens, Saltina began using drag to fall back in love with her body, and posting about her body eventually lead to her 2.3 million followers on TikTok. Everything she’s built, from her drag to her social platform, to her performance production businesses have come from that first seed of believing in her creativity and pushing through challenges.

In the first few minutes of IT: WELCOME TO DERRY, a young boy is hitchhiking in horrible weather. When a car pulls over and he gets picked up, the family inside the vehicle asks him where he’s headed.

His reply is both vague and hauntingly specific: “Anywhere but Derry.”

What happens next won’t be easily forgotten.

For anyone familiar with the world of acclaimed horror author Stephen King, the mere mention of the fictional town of Derry, Maine will send shivers down the spine. Premiering Sunday, Oct. 26 on Crave, HBO’s IT: WELCOME TO DERRY takes a deeper dive into the evil that exists there, serving as a prequel to the movies It (2017) and It Chapter Two (2019), both of which are available on Crave and were based on King’s unforgettable novel It (1986).

IT: WELCOME TO DERRY executive producer Andy Muschietti, who directed both the recent It films, was asked during a media conference if it had always been his intention to continue this creepy story somehow.

“Not always – it started as we were finishing Chapter Two, and we were starting to feel like that was it,” said Muschietti, pun possibly intended. “I started having conversations with Bill Skarsgård (who is reprising his role as Pennywise the Clown). Together, we were sort of high on the experience, and just speculating about making the origin story of Pennywise. How did It become the Clown?”

King has acknowledged many times over the years that he has largely avoided answering the questions of “why” and “how” in his horror novels, because he finds it more scary if things are left unexplained. But according to Muschietti and his producing partner and older sister Barbara Muschietti, King is very open to having those questions explored in other media such as TV and film, by other creative minds.

“First we talked to Steve, that’s the first thing,” Barbara Muschietti recalled.

Wait a minute … you call Stephen King “Steve?”

“Uncle Steve to Andy, Steve to me,” Barbara Muschietti said. “We are so lucky to have this very loving relationship with him. He has trusted us with this incredible masterpiece. He gets excited by it, and he writes to us about it all the time. Without expecting anything, you wake up and you find an email from Stephen King, loving, you know, a blood explosion, or whatever we're doing.”

So what could Stephen King’s personal email address possibly be?

“I don’t know what it means,” Barbara Muschietti admitted. “I’m not going to say it.”

Stephen King’s email address aside, the author gave his blessing to the Muschiettis, who decided to set the main plot line in IT: WELCOME TO DERRY in 1962. There’s something about that era that always works well in a King-written or King-adjacent tale, with the surface-level innocence of small-town life contrasted with what’s happening down below – figuratively in some cases, literally in others.

“There is a reason why we're telling the story backwards, that you won't know yet, and we can't tell you, but it just felt exciting,” Andy Muschietti teased.

Setting the story in 1962 also allows for an intriguing “character crossover,” so to speak. King fans may recall the name Dick Halloran from King’s 1977 novel The Shining, and the 1980 movie of the same name (available on Crave). In The Shining, Dick is an older man with telepathic abilities who befriends young Danny Torrance, who is also telepathic. In IT: WELCOME TO DERRY, we see a younger version of Dick, played by Chris Chalk.

"We're discovering who (Dick Halloran) is, and playing with the audience's expectation," Chalk said. "Because he's such a gentle soul in the versions that you know, and it's just not that guy here. He's a human, and he's having a human experience, learning to live with devastating psychic powers. It seems cool until you realize everyone around you is depressed. Then it's not super fun."

What is super fun is trying to figure out what It actually is.

“Well, the only thing I can say to that is, I'm going back to the theme of faith,” Andy Muschietti said. “Everything we have faith in is something for this thing to take, right? So does it exist because we believe in it? Is that why kids see it so much, and they’re the prominent victims of this thing, because adults don’t believe in things that don’t exist? So it’s a lingering question. It lingers in the book, it lingers in our movies, it lingers in our show. Is It real? Or is it something that we create?”

TORONTO (October 22, 2025) – Bell Media, in partnership with Environics Analytics (EA), announced the launch of its new Outcomes Measurement solution for TV campaigns. This measurement product will give advertisers a clear, comprehensive, and privacy-first way to connect ad exposure to real-world outcomes including sales, leads, spend, and more.

By combining Bell’s premium First Party Data, fuelled by 22 million customer connections across more than eight million Canadian households, with EA clean room technology, advertisers can now accurately measure the return on ad spend (ROAS) of their TV campaigns. This new capability complements Bell Attribution Insights (BAI), which already enables advertisers to measure how TV drives website traffic via Strategic Audience Management (SAM).

“Bell Media and EA continue to partner on effective solutions for advertisers to assess the true bottom-line impact of their campaigns,” said Sean Cohan, President, Bell Media. “With Outcomes Measurement, we are delivering the proof advertisers need to show that their media dollars drive measurable results, from sales lift to campaign drivers and audience insights.”

TORONTO (October 21, 2025) – Crave announced today the lineup of guest judges joining Coco Rocha, Jeanne Beker, and Spencer Badu on the judging panel to help find Canada’s Next Great Designer.  Also revealed today is the PROJECT RUNWAY CANADA trailer, offering fans a first look at mentor Aurora James in the workroom and what the season has in store.

TORONTO (October 17, 2025) – Crave heads to paradise for sun-soaked drama and the ultimate game of chemistry with its new 10-episode, romantic reality series, TEMPTATIONS UNDER THE SUN: CYPRUS. From Productions J, producers of Crave’s red-hot show OD: TENTATIONS AU SOLEIL, the #1 French-language reality series on Crave*, this English adaption is currently in production on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, with 17 sizzling and sultry singles ready to mix, mingle, and test their seductive strategies.

As the new series BOSTON BLUE begins, and various iconic Boston landmarks are shown, an appropriate sing-along song blares: “The Boys Are Back” by Dropkick Murphys.

If the lyrics are to be believed, “the boys are back, and they’re lookin’ for trouble.” Well, Danny Reagan, played by Donnie Wahlberg, is definitely back, and while it’s uncertain if Danny ever actually looks for trouble, he regularly has a way of finding it.

Premiering Friday, Oct. 17 at 10 p.m. ET on CTV, CTV.ca and the CTV app, and streaming next day on Crave, BOSTON BLUE is a spinoff of the enduringly popular BLUE BLOODS, which occupied the same time slot on Friday nights on CTV for 14 seasons.

“We are incredibly excited about this show, and cannot wait to share it with the world,” Wahlberg said in a media conference. “We look forward to bringing faith, family, and tradition back to television on Friday nights at 10 p.m.”

Wahlberg is reprising his role as Danny Reagan from BLUE BLOODS, which was a family police drama set in New York. The twist in BOSTON BLUE is that Danny is presented with a compelling family reason to relocate to Beantown, even though he’s leaving behind the comfort of his widespread law-enforcement clan in the Big Apple.

The irony for Wahlberg personally is that he is famously from Boston, but he spent a decade and a half shooting BLUE BLOODS in New York.

“I was very comfortable in New York, I will say that – as a Bostonian, that's not an easy thing to say,” Wahlberg said with a chuckle. “Acting in the streets of New York, it became just a joy of mine every day on BLUE BLOODS. I can't tell you how much fun I had, no matter what neighbourhood, no matter what borough, I always had a great time. But you know, there is a fish-out-of-water element to this show, and for Danny, he is in a new place, he's used to doing things a certain way, and now he has people who push back on him, and say, ‘yeah, you can't do that,’ Generally he kind of gets his way, but now it's different. So I've indulged the differences.”

Wahlberg added, “in terms of working in Boston, we're filming in Toronto and Boston, and I can tell you, they're both a joy. But they're both taking some getting used to. I have never shot a series in Boston like this. I've never had to navigate all my relatives showing up, and people showing up … ”

Wahlberg then fell back into the hardcore Boston accent of his youth, and yelled, “Donnie, take a picture with me! Donnie, who’s your paaartnaaa?’ ”

The “partner” in question is Detective Lena Silver, played by Sonequa Martin-Green (STAR TREK: DISCOVERY, THE WALKING DEAD). Lena is part of a prominent Boston law-enforcement family that rivals the Reagans in terms of sheer numbers.

"I was very familiar with the M5 when I was shooting walkers (on THE WALKING DEAD), and (on STAR TREK: DISCOVERY) my gun was a phaser, and it could be on stun or kill, but I have never dealt with a Glock," said Martin-Green, referring to the weaponry in BOSTON BLUE. "I have definitely had to get accustomed to being on the ground, pun intended, and be this sort of real person. Not like Captain Michael Burnham (Martin-Green's character on STAR TREK: DISCOVERY) is not a real person, in a sense, but it is different. Like Donnie was just saying, I've been embracing the differences, not having to have such a rigid spine, if you will, and not having to save the actual universe all the time."

One refreshing element of the relationship between Danny Reagan and Lena Silver is that while they obviously have differences – which are played up for comic effect – they don’t fall into the cop-show cliché of constant bickering. It doesn’t take Danny and Lena long to recognize each other’s value, as both people and professionals.

"That's one of the things that sparked us both, me and Donnie, something that we both saw in the story, that there is this kindredness between the two," Martin-Green agreed. "They're from two very different places, but they're both from these law-enforcement families, and they both understand faith and family and tradition, they share in that. They sort of see themselves in each other. They understand each other. We thought that was so special, and something that we haven't really seen a lot in (police) partnerships, especially in budding partnerships in the beginning. We thought, what a lovely thing to have these people immediately connect, to have them immediately trust each other, and immediately respect each other."

In terms of overall respect, Wahlberg has high goals for BOSTON BLUE.

“I can tell you, from 14 years on BLUE BLOODS, I've met thousands of law-enforcement families, or people from law-enforcement families, who've said how much that show meant to them, and how much it means to see families like theirs represented on TV,” he said. “There are thousands of unique families all around our country, but having the chance to continue telling the story of a new law-enforcement family, it's a tremendous honour, and hopefully BOSTON BLUE lands with all of those law-enforcement families the same way BLUE BLOODS did.”
