October 2 – EVIL DEAD BURN *Movie Premiere* 

 	New Line Cinema’s and Warner Bros. Pictures’ EVIL DEAD BURN makes its Canadian streaming debut exclusively on Crave on Friday, Oct. 2. The film unleashes the franchise’s most savage and terrifying ride to date with an all-new chapter of carnage and demonic mayhem. After the loss of her husband, a woman seeks solace with her in-laws in their secluded family home. October 9 – Crave Original ALL HEART: A RUGBY STORY *Docuseries Premiere* 

 	This all-new Crave Original docuseries offers a behind-the-scenes look at the Canadian women’s team and their journey through Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025. Over four 30-minute episodes, ALL HEART: A RUGBY STORY highlights the culmination of years of sacrifice, hard work, and preparation by the women’s national team – a mix of veteran players, young rising superstars, and semi-professionals who play overseas. As the team pursued its history-making campaign, the players pushed through grueling injuries, fought for a position in the lineup, and battled global behemoths. With unprecedented access provided by the partnership with Rugby Canada and World Rugby, audiences can witness a story of raw conviction and self-belief that transcends the sport. Produced by Boat Rocker Studios, alongside executive producers Jay Baruchel and The Tragically Hip, and in collaboration with Rugby Canada and World Rugby. All four episodes are available for streaming on Friday, Oct. 9.

October 11 – HBO Original Docuseries THE PET CEMETERY MURDERS: A GHOST STORY * Premiere* 

 	The re-opening of a mysterious 1985 cold case murder in Louisiana unearths a haunting history of bloodshed and long-buried trauma. The three-part documentary series debuts on Sunday, Oct. 11 with one new episode streaming on subsequent Sundays.



October 15 – CRYSTAL LAKE *Series Premiere*

 	A prequel to the Friday the 13th franchise, CRYSTAL LAKE follows single mother Pam Voorhees (Linda Cardellini), who has been unable to shake her grief after her young, sickly son Jason tragically drowned in the town lake almost a year before. When two strangers arrive at Pam’s door digging into her past, a disturbing chain of events are set into motion, leaving the townspeople of Crystal Lake wondering: just who is Pam Voorhees? All eight episodes drop on Thursday, Oct. 15.

 



October 16 – USA Network Original THE RAINMAKER *Season 2 Premiere*

 	Season 2 of the 10-episode legal drama THE RAINMAKER, inspired by the New York Times best-selling John Grisham novel and from Lionsgate Television and Blumhouse Atomic Monster, debuts on Friday, Oct. 16. The season picks back up with Rudy Baylor (Milo Callaghan), an underdog lawyer taking on powerful interests alongside his boss Jocelyn “Bruiser” Stone (Lana Parrilla) and his right-hand man Deck Shifflet (P.J. Byrne), the firm’s colourful paralegal. This season, J. Lyman Stone and Associates faces old adversaries and new ones in a case where the lives of hundreds of children hang in the balance, and where winning might be just as dangerous as losing. Later, Rudy goes up against his former law school flame, Sarah Plankmore (Madison Iseman), in the courtroom at the behest of her mysterious new boss, Amanda Vonn (Merle Dandridge), a powerful attorney whose agenda may be hiding a shocking international conspiracy. In a separate case, Bruiser's ex-husband Tom Cassady (Austin Nichols) turns to her for help as his legal troubles threaten his life and that of the star pitcher (Liam O’Halloran) of the minor league baseball team he coaches. Additional cast members include Asher De Land, Libby Kay, Kevin Ryan, and Tim Murphy. John Slattery and Karen Bryson also return. Episodes stream Fridays at 10 p.m. ET on Crave, and air on USA Network at 10 p.m. ET.

 	YAGA is based on the hit play by Kat Sandler who also serves as writer, showrunner, and executive producer. It follows Rapp (Noah Reid), a private investigator who arrives in the small coastal town of Whittock, to investigate the disappearance of a young heir to a powerful fishery, Henry Park (Hudson Williams). He finds himself at odds with an apprehensive local detective, Carson (Clark Backo), a charismatic university professor with a taste for younger men, Katherine (Carrie-Anne Moss), and a labyrinth of enigmatic suspects, secret lives, and ancient magic. Additional cast includes Sheila McCarthy, Megan Follows, Ezra Franky, Patrick Gilmore, Katharine Isabelle, and Hiro Kanagawa, along with Emilija Baranac, Georgia Acken, Anisa Harris, and Sam Krochmal. TORONTO (September 24, 2026) – The 113th Grey Cup will deliver an unforgettable celebration of Canadian pride, sport and music, featuring some of the country’s most beloved artists alongside world-class action and entertainment.
Calgarians and Canadian Football League (CFL) fans from coast to coast to coast will witness Canadian music icon Sarah McLachlan perform the national anthem as the Canadian Forces Snowbirds return to Grey Cup for their final flight. Canadian music legends Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor of Blue Rodeo will give a special guest performance, and award-winning Canadian country music group James Barker Band will cap off the pre-game festivities in the SiriusXM Grey Cup Kickoff Show. Global country music star Riley Green will headline Canada’s most-watched musical performance in the Bud Light Grey Cup Halftime Show.
“From national treasures to global stars, this year’s Grey Cup entertainment lineup reflects what makes the CFL special: homegrown excellence, world-class talent and a uniquely Canadian celebration on our biggest stage,” said CFL Commissioner Stewart Johnston.
The 113th Grey Cup will be played at McMahon Stadium in Calgary on Sunday, November 15 with kickoff slated for 6 p.m. ET/5 p.m. MT. The championship contest and the Bud Light Grey Cup Halftime Show will be broadcast live across the nation on TSN, CTV, RDS and Crave. Riley Green knows his way around the gridiron, having played quarterback for the Jacksonville State University Gamecocks before making his mark in country music. Green’s success has earned him five Academy of Country Music Awards, including Top New Male Vocalist in 2020. He continued that momentum in 2025, emerging as one of the biggest winners at the 59th Annual Country Music Association Awards, where his duet with Ella Langley, “You Look Like You Love Me,” took home Song of the Year, Single of the Year and Music Video of the Year. Now, headlining the Bud Light Grey Cup Halftime Show adds another major television credit to a standout 2026 for Green. The appearance follows his acting debut in Marshals and his role as a coach on the 30th season of The Voice, which premiered September 21 on CTV.

There are few more quintessentially Canadian songstresses than Sarah McLachlan. Her storied career has spanned nearly four decades with countless No. 1 hits, drawing critical acclaim and adoring fans around the globe. Her tenth studio album, 2025’s Better Broken, including the title track, “Gravity” and “Reminds Me,” returned one of the country’s most beloved artists to the national spotlight. Her trophy case bears Grammy Awards and Canada’s highest musical honours, including multiple JUNO Awards, East Coast Music Awards and Western Canadian Music Awards in recognition of her stunning catalogue and her exquisite songwriting.
A member of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, McLachlan also serves as a tremendous ambassador for her home and native land through her philanthropic and community efforts, garnering the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. She is a Member of the Order of British Columbia and an Officer of the Order of Canada.
"It's always such an honour to perform our Canadian anthem. There's nothing like that connection with an entire stadium, united and singing together with so much joy and pride. And to do it on the Grey Cup stage in Calgary once again will be truly special, I can't wait," said McLachlan.

Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor formed Blue Rodeo in the mid-1980s, embarking on a legendary musical journey that has garnered numerous No. 1 singles and 12 JUNO Awards, including five for Group of the Year. Blue Rodeo has been inducted in the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and they were the fifth band to be honoured with a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame. Cuddy and Keelor were inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2024 and they have also been made Officers of the Order of Canada.
"Ever since I was young, Grey Cup weekend has held a special place in my heart – from watching it with my dad, to celebrating with high school friends and family, and now having the chance to perform. I'm beyond excited to be part of it all in Calgary!” said Cuddy.
Their performance marks a triumphant return to a Grey Cup in Calgary for the famed Canadian duo, where Blue Rodeo starred as the halftime act in the 97th edition of professional Canadian football’s championship in 2009.

James Barker Band broke onto the Canadian country scene in 2015, winning the Emerging Artist Showcase at the Boots and Hearts Music Festival. The Woodville, Ont., act has spent the past decade delivering the band’s signature small-town sound to the national stage, earning multiple No. 1 hits in Canada, including “Chills,” “Keep It Simple,” “Over All Over Again,” “New Old Trucks” and “Meet Your Mama.” Their first full-length release, 2025’s One of Us, features their sixth single to reach the top of the charts, “You Didn’t Hear It From Me,” which was supported by the fan-favourite Bud Light Buckle Up Tour across the country.
The band is a two-time JUNO Award winner for Country Album of the Year. They recently took home their fourth consecutive Group or Duo of the Year, as well as Fans’ Choice at the 2026 Canadian Country Music Association Awards in addition to bringing their unmistakable charm and personality as hosts for the ceremony.

The series is set to be broadcast on TSN in the future.  

Over four 30-minute episodes, ALL HEART: A RUGBY STORY highlights the culmination of years of sacrifice, hard work, and preparation by the women’s national team – a mix of veteran players, young rising superstars, and semi-professionals who play overseas. As the team pursued its history-making campaign, the players pushed through grueling injuries, fought for a position in the lineup, and battled global behemoths.  

With unprecedented access provided by the partnership with Rugby Canada and World Rugby, audiences can witness a story of raw conviction and self-belief that transcends the sport.  

Following the premiere on Crave, TSN delivers live coverage of the Canadian women’s national team as they host England – their opponent in the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 Final – in The Rugby Rematch Tour, with matches on Friday, Oct. 16 at BMO Field in Toronto and Friday, Oct. 23 at TD Place in Ottawa. Both matches air live at 7 p.m. ET on TSN.

TORONTO, Sept. 23, 2026 – In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, hundreds of broadcasters in Canada are coming together for the sixth year in a row to amplify Indigenous voices with A DAY TO LISTEN 2026. Produced by the Gord Downie &amp; Chanie Wenjack Fund (DWF) in partnership with Orbyt Media, the 12-hour broadcast airs on radio stations throughout Canada on Wednesday, September 30, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. (local time). 

JUNO Award-winning singer-songwriter William Prince takes the lead as the host of A DAY TO LISTEN to share stories and interviews with Indigenous community leaders, experts, artists, creators, Elders, and more.

This year’s theme is Honouring Truth with Action. Honouring truth means listening to the lived experiences of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples and acknowledging the lasting impacts of the residential school system and other colonial policies. But listening is only the starting point. A DAY TO LISTEN 2026 explores how learning the truth can inspire meaningful action and contribute to reconciliation in communities throughout Canada.
