1 780 000 Viewers Tuned in to RDS on Saturday Afternoon to See Game 2 of the Canadiens-Bruins Playoff Series.

Montreal (May 5, 2014) – This past Saturday, an average of 1 780 000* viewers followed Game 2 of the Canadiens-Bruins playoff matchup, aired in the afternoon on RDS. At the end of the 3rd period, peak audience levels were recorded at 2 318 000* viewers.

RDS lead Quebec’s TV ratings during the game’s broadcast, starting at 12:30 p.m. ET, by gaining 66.9%* of market shares. With 20.4%* market shares for the entire day (May 3), RDS dominated all the other channels due to its exceptional programming, including HOCKEY 360, L’ANTICHAMBRE and Game 1 of the Kings-Ducks series.

Following Boston’s 5-3 victory –achieved through 4 consecutive goals in the 2nd half of the 3rd period– the second round series between the Montreal Canadiens and the Boston Bruins is now tied (1-1). Catch Game 3 of this series live on RDS, Tuesday, May 6 at 7 p.m. ET.
