The Oscar-nominated film Black Swan follows the story of Nina (Natalie Portman), a ballerina in a New York City ballet company whose life, like all those other in her profession, is completely consumed with dance. Portman won “Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role” at the 2011 Oscars for her role in the film. BLACK SWAN will also livestream on CTV.ca and the CTV GO app.

1 p.m. CTV MOVIE IT’S COMPLICATED (2009)

When attending their son’s college graduation, a couple reignites the spark in their relationship…but the complicated fact is they’re divorced and he’s remarried. The film stars 18-time nominated and 3-time Oscar-winner Meryl Streep who is nominated for an Oscar this year for “Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role” in August: Osage County

7 p.m. RED CARPET READY: 10 YEARS OF ETALK AT THE OSCARS NEW SPECIAL

The road to The Oscars begins as ETALK celebrates a decade on the red carpet. The half-hour special looks back at ETALK’s favourite and most memorable moments covering The Academy Awards, including game-changing red carpet questions – like when Jennifer Lawrence’s mother exclusively revealed to Ben Mulroney that she was reading The Hunger Games, as Lawrence was announced to play the role of Katniss Everdeen in the successful film franchise. Hosted by Ben Mulroney, Tanya Kim, Lainey, and ETALK executive producer Morley Nirenberg, the special also examines the program’s best and worst red carpet moments, behind-the-scenes secrets, and best red carpet looks from the past decade. 12 a.m. CTV MOVIE CHILDREN OF MEN (2006)

In 2027, in a chaotic world in which women have become somehow infertile, a former activist agrees to help transport a miraculously pregnant woman to a sanctuary at sea. The film is directed by Alfonso Cuarón, whose recent film Gravity is nominated in a number of categories at this year’s Oscars. The film also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, who is nominated for an Oscar this year for “Best Actor in a Leading Role” in 12 Years A Slave

The Oscar-winning film MILLION DOLLAR BABY follows a determined woman who works with a hardened boxing trainer to become a professional. The film stars two-time Academy Award-winning actress Hilary Swank, who won “Best Actress in a Leading Role” at THE OSCARS in 2005. The classic tale of THE WIZARD OF OZ follows Dorothy Gale (Judy Garland), who is swept away to a magical land in a tornado and embarks on a quest to see the Wizard who can help her return home. The film, which won two Academy Awards in 1940, “Best Original Song” and “Best Original Score,” will be honoured at this year’s Oscars, celebrating the 75th Anniversary of The Wizard of Oz. When a pop singer (Whitney Houston) begins receiving threatening notes, her manager hires a bodyguard (Kevin Costner) with both a solid reputation, and a troubled past. Even while managing to ruffle her feathers, the bodyguard and singer begin an affair, as the singer’s stalker begins to strike closer to home.
