It continues the proud tradition of Los Angeles P.I.’s that began with Philip Marlowe and will end with this show. The six-part drama is based on Helene Tursten’s short story collections “An Elderly Lady Is Up to No Good” and “An Elderly Lady Must Not Be Crossed.” It was written by acclaimed playwrights Nina Raine (“Bach & Sons,” “Consent”) and Moses Raine (“Donkey Heart”), marking the first original television series created by the duo, and is being directed by Lee Haven Jones (“A Cruel Love: The Ruth Ellis Story,” “Y Sŵn”). It was developed and produced by Playground for Sony Pictures Television, who will distribute globally. The series was commissioned for Channel 4 by “Gwawr Lloyd,” interim head of drama, and Rebecca Holdsworth, commissioning editor, drama, and is a Sony Pictures Television production. Executive producers are Scott Huff and Colin Callender for Playground, alongside Close, Lee Haven Jones, Nina Raine and Moses Raine. The series producer is Morenike Williams (“Killing Eve,” “Culprits”).  CRYSTAL LAKE – New CRYSTAL LAKEa prequel to the hugely popular Friday the 13th, stars Linda Cardellini (DTF St. Louis, Dead to Me), who plays the iconic character from the franchise, Pamela Voorhees. Cardellini is joined by William Catlett (A Thousand and One, Constellation), Devin Kessler (Godfather of Harlem), Cameron Scoggins (Shades of Blue, Nashville) and Gwendolyn Sundstrom.   Callum Vinson (Chucky, Long Bright River), Nick Cordileone (Warrior), Joy Suprano (Fleishman is in Trouble, Best Foot Forward), Danielle Kotch (Director’s Cut) and Phoenix Parnevik (Bel-Air, Don’t Tell Mom) are recurring guest stars.  Michael Lennox (101-103) (Say Nothing, Derry Girls), directing duo Celine Held and Logan George (104-106) (Topside, Caddo Lake), and Quyen Tran (107-108) (Sirens, The Pitt) will direct. Lennox also serves as executive producer.   Crystal Lake, a A24 and Peacock series, was created by showrunner, writer, and executive producer Brad Caleb Kane (It: Welcome to Derry), who joins A24 and original ‘Friday the 13th’ writer Victor Miller and Horror, Inc. in bringing the Jason Universe story to the screen. Further Executive Producers are A24, Marc Toberoff, Victor Miller, Robert M. Barsamian, Robert P. Barsamian, Stuart Manashil, Tyson Bidner, Michael Lennox and Roy Lee.  THE GOOD DAUGHTER – New THE GOOD DAUGHTER is a suspenseful thriller wrapped in a deeply emotional story about love, family, and resilience. Sisters Charlotte (Meghann Fahy) and Samantha (Rose Byrne) Quinn have spent the last twenty years trying to piece together the lives that were fractured by a single night of violence. When another attack splinters the small town of Pikeville, Charlotte, now a lawyer like her father, is the first witness on the scene. As the case unfolds and twists through painful memories and buried secrets, what emerges is not just a story of survival, but of enduring ties between a father and his daughters – and the complex bond between sisters.  Based on Karin Slaughter’s best-selling novel of the same name, THE GOOD DAUGHTER stars Rose Byrne, Meghann Fahy, Brendan Gleeson, Harper Steele, Olivia Williams, Drew Ann Cheek, Audrey Grace Marshall, and Michael Dorman. The series is produced by Made Up Stories in partnership with global film and TV studio FIFTH SEASON, which is also handling global distribution.  The series is written and executive produced by Karin Slaughter (Pieces of Her, Will Trent) alongside Executive Producers Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky and Casey Haver for Made Up Stories (The Undoing, Pieces of Her, Wolf Like Me), and Rose Byrne. Directed and executive produced by Steph Green (Watchmen, The Americans).
