Creator and Showrunner Emily Andras proudly raves about Scrofano taking her turn in the director’s chair this season.
“There is literally no one else who knows what makes Wynonna Earp tick better than Melanie Scrofano,” said Andras. “Her enthusiasm, ingenuity, and diligence — not to mention the fierce loyalty of her cast and crew — make her a natural fit for the director’s chair. I am so excited to watch her shine in this new role.”
Last year, Scrofano teased a video on her Instagram letting fans know that she will in-fact be directing her first full episode this season, which comes after directing a scene from the WYNONNA EARP Season 3 premiere episode titled “Red Blood Going Down.”
“I’m very excited to bring my experience as Wynonna Earp to the director’s chair for an episode of Season 4,” said Scrofano. “I’ve had the great luck to learn from some of the best directors and showrunners in the business and hope that viewers will enjoy the episode as much as I’ve enjoyed directing it.”
In other WYNONNA EARP news, Twitter has been buzzing with the hashtag’s #Earpers and #EarpNow allowing fans to be up to date with the production. So far, three new cast members have been introduced to #Earpers via the hashtag: Andrew Phung (KIM’S CONVENIENCE), Toronto Maple Leaf’s anthem singer Marina Ortiz-Luis, and Ty Olsson (SUPERNATURAL).
WYNONNA EARP Season 4 is expected to debut later this year. Viewers can catch up on Seasons 1-3 streaming now on Crave.Subscribe to our media lists to receive official press releases and alerts from Bell Media PR.
