All Seven Teams Keep on Racing on Tonight’s Episode of CTV’s THE AMAZING RACE CANADA: HEROES EDITION

While Zainab and Monica were the last to arrive, they were spared from elimination for the second time this season and will race in next week’s episode of THE AMAZING RACE CANADA on Tuesday, August 7 at 8 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. MT on CTV and CTV GO. “Oh my god, another second life. In tonight’s episode the remaining seven teams travelled nearly 60,000 km from the Pit Start in Jakarta, Indonesia back home to Canada. Once they touched down in Toronto, teams had to determine the location of CAMI Automotive Assembly Plant in Ingersoll, Ont. and drive themselves to the proper facility. Courtney and Adam, Nancy and Mellisa, Leanne and Mar and Zainab and Monica all accidentally drove to the Chevrolet plant in Oshawa, Ont. before realizing their mistake and driving to the correct location. Based on order of arrival and in five minute intervals, teams were admitted to the CAMI Assembly Plant where they hit the factory floor and had to correctly assemble a Chevrolet Equinox door unit. Racers were provided with instructions and a silent demonstration to complete the challenge. After meeting the exact technical and quality standards, teams received their next clue. Teams then made their way to the quaint and beautiful country town of Stratford, Ont., famous around the world for the Stratford Festival which draws half a million theatre lovers each year. After finding their next clue outside the Festival Theatre, teams encountered a Roadblock. In this Roadblock, one racer had to suit up in an Elizabethan costume and learn an intricate and technical stage combat fight scene. Once they put their skills to the test on stage and mastered the sword, teams raced to complete a Detour, with either a “package” or “pedal” option. In “package,” teams made their way to Rheo Thompson Candies where they took to the prep area to correctly package 10 boxes of assorted mix smoothies and 10 boxes of assorted fruit jelly. In “pedal,” teams were required to pedal around the Avon River in paddle boats, collect six emoji pieces scattered along the banks and solve the puzzle. From the Detour, all teams raced to the “Queen of the Square,” Stratford’s historic City Hall where they found host Jon Montgomery and the Pit Stop for this leg of the race. Taylor and Courtney arrived first, winning a trip for two to London, England. Monica and Zainab were the last team to arrive at the Pit Stop, but were told to keep on racing, surviving elimination for the second time in Season 6 of THE AMAZING RACE CANADA: HEROES EDITION.
