Animal Planet celebrates the dark, sometimes slimy, and often dangerous worlds where these monsters dwell during MONSTER WEEK: HALLOWE’EN EDITION. MAULED Monday, Oct. 26 at 8 p.m. ET/9 p.m. PT Deep in the woods of Maryland, four survivors of violent animal attacks gather to share their terrifyingly true tales. From grizzly bears to mountain lions, Shannon, Wade, Louie, and Deb have experienced the unimaginable and lived to tell about it. MONSTER HAMMERHEAD Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. ET/9 p.m. PT For the past 60 years, claims of a monster hammerhead shark measuring more than six metres in length have been brewing across Florida. A team of scientists and anglers explore the waters of the world’s largest hammerheads to confirm if these stories are true. MONSTER CROC INVASION Friday, Oct. 30 at 8 p.m. ET/9 p.m. PT Reptile expert and “Gator Boy” Paul Bedard examines the sharp increase in human attacks and deaths by crocodiles in Costa Rica. WEREWOLVES: THE DARK SURVIVORS Saturday, Oct. 31 at 8 p.m. ET/9 p.m. PT Dare to imagine werewolves aren’t myths, but actually alive and part of the world. On Halloween night, this two-hour special studies werewolves while questioning what their existence would mean for society.
