Highlights This Week April – HBO’s GAME OF THRONES Iron Anniversary
  • This month marks the 10th anniversary of HBO’s groundbreaking, history-making series GAME OF THRONES. To commemorate this milestone occasion and engage passionate fans, a two-part reunion special hosted by Conan O’Brien, and filmed during the series’ final season, is now available for streaming on Crave. Additionally,  Crave has curated a number of special GAME OF THRONES collections including: The Essential Episodes, and Best Of collections for Jon Snow, Arya Stark, Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister, and Cersei Lannister.
April 9 – MISBEHAVIOUR *Movie Premiere*
  • In 1970, the Miss World competition took place in London and was the most-watched TV show in the world with more than 100 million viewers. Claiming that beauty competitions demeaned women, the newly formed Women’s Liberation Movement achieved overnight fame by invading the stage and disrupting the live broadcast of the competition. Not only that, when the show resumed, the result caused uproar: the winner was not the Swedish favourite but Miss Grenada, the first black woman to be crowned Miss World. Starring Kiera Knightly, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Greg Kinnear, the film is described by Screen Daily as “well written, -acted, -cast and –produced”. MISBEHAVIOUR streams Friday, April 9 only on Crave.
April 11 – HBO’s THE NEVERS *Series Premiere*
  • Coined “the next great fantasy series” by The Los Angeles Times, the new HBO science-fiction drama series THE NEVERS premieres Sunday, April 11 at 9 p.m. ET. In the last years of Victoria’s reign, London is beset by the “Touched” people, mostly women, who suddenly manifest abnormal abilities. Some charming, some very disturbing. Among them are Amalia True (Laura Donnelly), a mysterious, quick-fisted widow, and Penance Adair (Ann Skelly), a brilliant young inventor. They are the champions of this new underclass, making a home for the Touched, while fighting the forces of… well, pretty much all the forces – to make room for those whom history as we know it, has no place. THE NEVERS debuts Part One of its first season with six episodes following a weekly release schedule, with new episodes dropping Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Crave. Premiere for the six-episode Part Two, to be announced.
April 11 – SHAMELESSS *Series Finale*
  • The acclaimed comedy series SHAMELESS* says a final goodbye after 11 seasons. The final season of the long-running comedy, starring Oscar-nominated William H. Macy, has seen the Gallagher family and the South Side at a crossroads, with changes caused by the COVID pandemic, gentrification, and aging to contend with. The series finale, titled “Father Frank, Full of Grace” drops Sunday, April 11 at 9 p.m. ET.
April 12 – MCQUEEN *Documentary*
  • Alexander McQueen’s rags-to-riches story is a modern-day fairy tale, laced with the gothic. Described as “unmissable” by Rolling Stone, and mirroring the savage beauty, boldness, and vivacity of his design, the documentary is an intimate revelation of his McQueen’s own world, both tortured and inspired, which celebrates a radical and mesmerizing genius of profound influence. MCQUEEN streams Monday, April 12 only on Crave.
