MONTRÉAL (December 8, 2015) – Astral Out of Home, a division of Bell Media, has announced the expansion of its Digital Network in Canada with the implementation of 11 new large-format digital faces, reinforcing its leadership position in digital out-of-home advertising. The new faces will be strategically positioned in the Toronto, Montréal, and Calgary areas, bringing to 83 the total number of large-format digital structures delivered by Astral Out of Home across the country. Installation of these new faces is already underway, with gradual rollouts planned until the end of Q1 2016. Seven new faces will be added in Toronto, three in Greater Montréal, and one in Calgary. The structures enhance Astral Out of Home’s existing inventory in these markets, and complement the company’s offering in Edmonton and Vancouver. “We’re very excited about the addition of these new faces to our large format digital inventory,” said Jordana Fatsis, Vice-President, Sales, Astral Out of Home. “This new development strengthens our leadership and offers advertisers more opportunities to engage with consumers in major Canadian markets. Of particular importance are the seven new faces in Toronto; the area north of Steeles spanning from Vaughan to Markham is highly sought by advertisers and currently has limited OOH offerings. With these new locations, Astral Out-of-Home becomes the exclusive supplier of large format digital advertising in these key neighbourhoods.” Representation Agreement with RCC Media The addition of these 11 new large-format digital faces coincides with the announcement of the signing of an agreement for the representation by Astral Out of Home for the static faces owned by RCC Media in the Greater Toronto area. “In addition to accentuating its leadership in large-format digital out-of-home advertising across Canada, Astral Out of Home is delighted to partner with Canadian entrepreneurs like RCC Media founders Tony Romanelli and Matthew Fusco,” said Luc Quétel, President, Astral Out of Home. “We are very excited about this new business partnership with Astral Out of Home, both in terms of static platforms and the development of seven new large-format digital structures in the Toronto market,” said Tony Romanelli, President of RCC Media. “Our local expertise, combined with Astral Out of Home’s national sales capability, will undoubtedly be beneficial to both parties, as well as to our respective clients.” These additions to the Astral Out of Home portfolio come on the heels of new concessions at the Vancouver, Ottawa, and Halifax airports as well as with the Québec City transit network.
