This year’s record edition of this major celebration culminated at the C2MTL creative conference, where both Astral Out of Home’s CARTE BLANCHE FOR CREATIVES and
C’EST DANS’ CANNES competitions were concluded.
“We’re delighted to see the CARTE BLANCHE competition generating more and more enthusiasm each year,” said Chloé Boissonnault, General Manager, Communication and Marketing, Bell Media Sales. “We received some far-reaching ideas that leveraged the strengths of digital technology, most notably in terms of its ability to tie into real-time RSS feeds. Ultimately, this leads to all kinds of flexible and creative possibilities that benefit the advertised brands.”
Each market’s winning teams will fly to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, while their clients will get a $50,000 ad campaign on the Astral Out of Home network. The creative teams ranking in second and third place will receive a MacBook Retina and an iPad Pro, respectively.
Launched last March, the annual CARTE BLANCHE FOR CREATIVES competition received 272 submissions from across the country, including 142 for the Québec market. The CARTE BLANCHE formula was developed and implemented by Astral Out of Home in 2010 to support and reward out-of-home advertising creativity.
