MONTRÉAL (Apr. 19, 2022) – Astral Out of Home, a division of Bell Media and Canada’s leading out-of-home advertising solution provider, announced that it has renewed its contract with Aéroports de Montréal (ADM). The partnership will offer a capital investment to deploy new exterior and interior products within Montréal-Trudeau International Airport. The agreement came into effect on January 1, 2022 and grants Astral exclusive advertising rights at Canada’s third largest airport. The partnership between Astral and ADM, which has lasted for more than 20 years, is further strengthened with commitments to the future transformations of digital products within the airport. “We are excited to continue working with ADM to modernize the advertising infrastructure of Montréal-Trudeau International Airport,” said Farshad Kajouii, VP, Pricing, Operations, and OOH, Bell Media. “Our plans for its future will foster unparalleled digital innovation in YUL, set new records, and continue to be the benchmark for out of home advertising in Canada.” “As the world recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic and air traffic continues to rise, Aéroports de Montréal is thrilled to continue its successful relationship of more than 20 years with Astral as its advertising partner,” said Sébastien Duteau, Director, Commercial Revenue and Ground Transportation at ADM. “Astral’s creativity and innovation over the years have been beneficial to our travelers’ airport experience, and still matches our vision of evolving within our ever-changing industry.” As part of the renewed contract, advertising products available at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport are located in all of the high-traffic areas including pre-boarding, departures, and arrivals. Products are offered in a variety of formats, such as digital networks, high-resolution video walls, spectacular indoor static products, large format iconic outdoor products, and exhibition areas, in addition to a variety of custom executions. The long-term deal further cements Astral’s Airports Division as a leader in airport advertising, which has exclusive concessions and products in five other major airports across the country. Astral is also the only media operator to own advertising rights in Canada’s two largest airports, in addition of YUL.
