AUGUST 18 – HBO Max’s SELENA + CHEF *Season 4 Premiere*

• The HBO Max Original cooking show SELENA + CHEF, starring Grammy^® and Emmy^® nominee Selena Gomez, returns with three episodes on Thursday, August 18. Season 4 takes place in a beautiful Malibu beach house where Selena continues to learn the joys of cooking with all-star chefs. As in the first three seasons, each chef highlight a different charity. To date, the series has raised $400,000 for 26 non-profit organizations. SELENA + CHEF follows a weekly release schedule with three episodes dropping Thursday, August 25, and the final four on Thursday, September 1.

AUGUST 19 – THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE *Movie Premiere*

• THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE, streaming on Friday, August 19, is an intimate look at the extraordinary rise, fall, and redemption of televangelist Tammy Faye Bakker, played by Jessica Chastain, who won the Academy Award^® for Best Actress for the role. In the 1970s and 80s, Tammy Faye and her husband, Jim Bakker (Andrew Garfield), rose from humble beginnings to create the world’s largest religious broadcasting network and theme park, and were revered for their message of love, acceptance and prosperity. Tammy Faye was legendary for her indelible eyelashes, her idiosyncratic singing, and her eagerness to embrace people from all walks of life. However, it wasn’t long before financial improprieties, scheming rivals, and scandal, toppled their carefully constructed empire.

AUGUST 21 – HBO’s HOUSE OF THE DRAGON *Series Premiere*

• HBO’s highly anticipated HOUSE OF THE DRAGON, premieres on Crave on Sunday, Aug. 21 at 9 p.m. ET. Based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, and co-created by co-showrunners Ryan Condal and Miguel Sapochnik, the 10-episode series, set 200 years before the events of GAME OF THRONES, tells the story of House Targaryen (House of the Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen). Executive produced by George R.R. Martin, Ryan Condal and Miguel Sapochnik, the show stars Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Fabien Frankel, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans. HOUSE OF THE DRAGON follows a weekly release schedule with new episodes dropping Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.

AUGUST 24 – HBO’s KATRINA BABIES *Documentary Premiere*

• From HBO Documentary Films, and streaming Wednesday, Aug. 24 at 9 p.m. ET, KATRINA BABIES details the close-knit families and vibrant communities of New Orleans, whose lives were uprooted by the 2005 disaster. These American children who were airlifted out of the rising waters, evacuated from their homes to refugee-like centres, or placed in makeshift, temporary living situations, have been neglected. As families were tasked with reintegrating into new communities, having experienced loss, displacement, and lack of support from government officials, the children were left to process their trauma in a wounded, fractured city. New Orleans filmmaker Edward Buckles Jr., who was 13 years old during Katrina and its initial aftermath, spent seven years documenting the stories of his peers who survived the storm as children, using his community’s tradition of oral storytelling to open a door for healing, and to capture the strength and spirit of his city.
