AUGUST 24 – HBO Max’s AND JUST LIKE THAT…*Season 2 Finale*
  • Having just been renewed for a third season, the HBO Max Original series AND JUST LIKE THAT… concludes its second season on Thursday, Aug. 24. From executive producer Michael Patrick King, and starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis, AND JUST LIKE THAT… has been praised as “an ideal introduction to summer,” by Vanity Fair and declared “brilliantly watchable” by The Guardian.
AUGUST 25 – THE FLASH *Movie Premiere*
  • Worlds collide in THE FLASH when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?
AUGUST 25 – JESUS REVOLUTION *Movie Premiere*
  • Inspired by a true movement, JESUS REVOLUTION tells the story of Greg Laurie, who was raised by his struggling mother Charlene in the 1970s. Laurie, and a sea of young people descend on sunny Southern California to redefine truth through all means of liberation. Inadvertently, Laurie meets Lonnie Frisbee, a charismatic hippie street preacher, and Pastor Chuck Smith, who have thrown open the doors of Smith’s languishing church to a stream of wandering youth. What unfolds becomes the greatest spiritual awakening in American history. Rock n’ roll, newfound love, and a twist of faith lead to a JESUS REVOLUTION that turns one counterculture movement into a revival that changes the world. Starring Joel Courtney, Jonathan Roumie, Kelsey Grammar, and Kimberly Williams-Paisley, JESUS REVOLUTION streams Friday, Aug. 25 on STARZ.
AUGUST 27 – HBO’s TELEMARKETERS *Finale*
  • The critically acclaimed HBO docuseries TELEMKARETERS drops its final episode on Sunday, Aug. 27 at 10 p.m. Directed by Adam Bhala Lough and Sam Lipman-Stern, and executive produced by Josh and Benny Safdie alongside Danny McBride (THE RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES), the three-part series explores the 20-year journey of two unlikely office buddies on a mission to expose the dark side of American capitalism, and the call centres that defraud the most vulnerable. Hailed by the Globe and Mail as “wildly entertaining,” and TIME as “one of the most exciting docuseries in years,” TELEMARKETERS finds itself taking on fraudulent scams, a comedic cast of call centre characters, and the relentless spirit of two tenacious, self-appointed whistleblowers who make their way to the halls of the United States Senate, determined to expose an industry gone awry from the inside.
