“We’re bringing entertaining and unique content to all of CTV platforms as part of our ongoing commitment to connect with viewers wherever they are,” said Mike Cosentino, Senior Vice-President, Programming, CTV Networks.
From award-winning director Jay Ferguson (Animals), GUIDESTONES features two journalism students who uncover a global conspiracy while investigating the unsolved murder of scientist Harold Glenndenning. Inspired by true events, the series takes viewers deep inside the mystery of The Georgia Guidestones, an enigmatic monument nestled in a farmer’s field in rural Georgia, inscribed with directions for rebuilding civilization after the apocalypse. Students Sandy Rai (Supinder Wraich, DEGRASSI: THE NEXT GENERATION) and Trevor Shale (Dan Fox, DEGRASSI: THE NEXT GENERATION) uncover a hidden cabal involving some of the world’s most powerful people and their plans for the destruction and reconstruction of modern global civilization.
GUIDESTONES joins other stand-alone series acquired by CTV exclusively for digital platforms, including BACKPACERS, INSIDE THE RACE, LAST CALL, and DOUBLE DATE….WITH DEATH and THE CONFESSION.
GUIDESTONES is presented by iThentic/3’oclock.tv in association with Bell Media, the Independent Production Fund (IPF), the Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC), and the Canada Media Fund (CMF). Produced by Lisa Baylin and Jay Ferguson. The series is directed by Jay Ferguson, and written by Jay Ferguson and Jeremy Diamond (ODD JOB JACK).
