

Bell Media Agency Named Worldwide Marketing Team of the Year at the 2013 PromaxBDA Awards; Wins 46 Medals

LOS ANGELES (June 24, 2013) – For the first time ever, the Bell Media Agency has been recognized with the prestigious Global Excellence Award for Marketing Team of the Year, given to the company with the highest number of Global Excellence Awards. The honour was bestowed at the 2013 PromaxBDA Awards held last Thursday in Los Angeles. Recognizing achievement in marketing, promotion and design, Bell Media was also once again the leading Canadian media group at PromaxBDA. With an impressive 20 Global Excellence and 26 North American medals, Bell Media took home a total of 46 wins this year, in addition to the special team recognition.
Over the past five years, the Bell Media Agency (and the former CTV Creative Agency) has been one of the world’s most successful entrants at the PromaxBDA Awards, demonstrating consistent leadership amongst broadcasters, both nationally and worldwide. With this year’s wins, the Agency has amassed more than 300 awards since 2008, to emerge as a leading international performer.

On an international level, the Bell Media Agency captured seven Gold Medals, six Silver Medals, and six Bronze Medals. For North America, Bell Media garnered five Gold Medals, twelve Silver Medals and ten Bronze Medals. The Bell Media Agency’s promotion and design for the LONDON 2012 OLYMPIC GAMES was also notably recognized with seven awards.
With 37 nominations this year, the Bell Media Agency was also announced as a finalist for the 2013 PromaxBDALocal Awards, which will be presented this Thursday, June 27, 2013.
