TORONTO (April 9, 2020) – As National Canadian Film Day moves online and into Canadians’ living rooms for its seventh edition, Bell Media’s premium English and French-language Pay TV networks and streaming services, including Crave, STARZ, Super Écran, and Cinépop, are pleased to support Reel Canada’s annual, day-long celebration of homegrown cinema on Wednesday, April 22. Crave’s TV lineup includes feature-length documentaries like: Crave Original Documentaries ONCE WERE BROTHERS: ROBBIE ROBERTSON AND THE BAND, RAT PARK, SHARKWATER: EXTINCTION, ANTHROPOCENE: THE HUMAN EPOCH, THE WOMAN WHO LOVES GIRAFFES, and I’M GOING TO BREAK YOUR HEART; as well as Canadian Screen Award-recognized films THE HUMMINGBIRD PROJECT, FIRECRACKERS, and STOCKHOLM. Many of these titles will also be available for streaming in Crave’s National Canadian Film Day Collection, which also launches on April 22. On STARZ, subscribers can enjoy renowned Canadian films including SISTERS & BROTHERS, TOM AT THE FARM, THE DEATH & LIFE OF JOHN F. DONOVAN, and AWAY FROM HER. In addition, French-language Pay TV networks SUPER ÉCRAN and Cinépop have compiled two, all-Canadian Journée du Cinéma Canadien collections that will be available on April 22.
