As Pride celebrations across the country go virtual for the first-time ever, Bell Media Studios proudly shares pride-themed programming all month long from ETALK, THE SOCIAL, THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW, and YOUR MORNING. Featuring exclusive interviews and performances from musicians, actors, and LGBTQ+ representatives, below are some of the ways Bell Media Studios is amplify LGBTQ+ voices Pride month: ETALK Week of June 8: ETALK features an all-new interview with the cast of hit series, QUEER EYE, and reporter Chloe Wilde talks with Canadian actors Dustin Milligan (SCHITT’S CREEK) and Jordan Connor (RIVERDALE) about their experience on RUPAUL’S CELEBRITY DRAG RACE. Week of June 15: Country music artist Brandon Stansell discusses the new documentary that follows his return to his hometown for the first time since coming out to his very religious family, and shares what life is like following his traumatic experience. ETALK senior correspondent Traci Melchor also talks to up-and-coming Toronto Drag Queen Aurora Matrix about her TikTok fame, coming out, and why Pride is even more important this year. Week of June 22: Host of New York City’s virtual Pride and judge on RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE Carson Kressley chats with Wilde about LGBTQ+ visibility and his latest projects. Queer comedian and creator of The Ethnic Rainbow, Brandon Ash-Mohammed also discusses his latest comedy album that centres around his life. THE SOCIAL Week of June 15: Wedding and event planner Trevor Frankfurt shares his tips for planning a virtual Pride party. Week of June 22: #Share Your Chair, highlighting voices from the LGBTQ+ community THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW Week of June 22: Marilyn celebrates “Pride at Home” with interviews throughout the week with various LGBTQ+ celebrities, including Canadian content creator Gigi Gorgeous; the director of the upcoming documentary WELCOME TO CHECHNYA; Hightown star Monica Raymund; David France; and the judges of CANADA’S DRAG RACE. Marilyn also co-hosts the program’s first-ever Virtual Pride Party with television personality Ross Matthews, including a performance by Caveboy.
