Bell Media’s The Harold Greenberg Fund Partners with Creative BC for New BC Shorts Program

TORONTO(April 6, 2018) – Bell Media’s The Harold Greenberg Fund, in partnership with Creative BC, the province’s creative industry catalyst supporting BC’s film and television, publishing, music, interactive and digital media industries, announced today The Harold Greenberg Fund’s BC Shorts Program, a new short film finance initiative.
“We’re thrilled to expand our support for Canada’s filmmaking community with this newly created program,” said John Galway, President, English-Language Program, The Harold Greenberg Fund. “BC is a hub for exciting filmmaking talent and we’re proud to play a role in bringing their projects to life”.

The program is designed to finance short films from BC filmmaking teams, showcasing new creative visions and furthering the careers of writers, producers, and directors as they move towards feature filmmaking. Three recipients will receive $20,000 each in financial contributions from The Harold Greenberg Fund and Creative BC for short, impactful standalone films.
