TORONTO (February 27, 2014) – BNN offers comprehensive coverage of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) convention, from Monday, March 3-5. Throughout the annual industry gathering, BNN will feature live reports from the floor, where attendees and industry professionals explore the many facets of Canada’s mining industry.

On Monday, March 3 at 5:30 p.m. ET, BNN’s HEADLINE will report live from the PDAC convention, where host Howard Green will speak with Peter Crossgrove, a former member of the Barrick Gold’s Board of Directors, about governance in the mining industry. Crossgrove, author of Boardroom Games – You’re Fired, shares his knowledge and insight from having sat on close to 70 mining, corporate, and not-for-profit boards.

Then on Tuesday, March 4 at 11:30 a.m. ET, David Garofalo, President and CEO of Hudbay Minerals, and Randy Smallwood, President and CEO of Silver Wheaton, join host Andrew Bell on COMMODITIES for the program’s full half-hour. The mining CEOs give BNN a candid look at the state of mining M&A and financing, global demand for their products, and valuations in the sector.

Additional interviews with the industry’s top experts will be broadcast live from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
