The Home of Soccer in Canada: TSN Announces Its BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE Broadcast Schedule Through the End of March

TORONTO (February 19, 2014) – TSN today announced its BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE broadcast schedule through to March 30 (see below for confirmed schedule). TSN’s slate of platforms – TSN, TSN2, TSN.ca, and TSN Radio – will continue to deliver up to five games per week throughout the 2013-14 season as part of the network’s 190-game package.

TSN’s multi-platform BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE coverage kicks off with live coverage of TFC striker Jermain Defoe in what may be his final BPL game when Norwich plays Tottenham on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 11 a.m. ET on TSN.ca. Additional highlights include:

• The latest chapter of one of soccer’s most-storied rivalries when Man United hosts Liverpool on Sunday, March 16 at 9:30 a.m. ET on TSN2
• Hometown rivals clash in the Manchester Derby, as Man United takes on Man City on Tuesday, March 25 at 3:45 p.m. ET on TSN
• A match with potentially major implications on the race for the BPL title when Arsenal faces off against Man City on Saturday, March 29 at 1:30 p.m. ET

The broadcast schedule for TSN Radio – including TSN Radio 1050 in Toronto, TSN Radio 690 in Montreal, TSN Radio 1200 in Ottawa, TSN Radio 1260 in Edmonton, and TSN Radio 1290 in Winnipeg – will be confirmed weekly on each station’s homepage.

This is the first season of a new multi-year broadcast agreement with BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE that gives TSN Canadian media rights to half of all games through to the 2015-16 season.
