Montreal, April 26th 2013 – Virgin Radio Montreal is a firm believer that it is better to drive the bandwagon than to jump on it.  We can’t score on the ice, so we will support our team the best way we know how… by shooting our mouths off through song!  We’re pleased to release Virgin Radio’s Habs Playoff Anthem… “Bring The Cup Back Home!”  Set to the hit Philip Phillips song “Home”, our original rallying cry stirs emotion and keeps the flame burning bright for all fans to use as they express their support for Montreal.

Virgin Radio Brand Director Mark Bergman said, “Cut my arm, and like everyone here at Virgin Radio, and any other true fan in this city I bleed red… white and blue. Let’s get behind our team and Bring The Cup Back Home”.

Virgin Radio Morning Host Freeway Frank was blown away by listener reaction.  He said, “As soon as we played the song this morning the phones went crazy!  People were calling and calling making Bring The Cup Back Home the most requested song of the day”.

Virgin Radio’s Habs Playoff Anthem… “Bring The Cup Back Home!” written by Virgin’s Freeway Frank and Natasha Gargiulo features the voice of Jean-Francois Tremblay and is backed up by Marie-Claude Poulin and choristers from Trafalgar School For Girls.
