Justin Bieber feels the burn on THE ROAST OF JUSTIN BIEBER
Toronto, ON (March 24) – Belieb it Canada! Canada’s world-renowned mega pop star and not-so-sweetheart Justin Bieber is being put to the fire for an “unbeliebable” heap of scrutiny in THE ROAST OF JUSTIN BIEBER, premiering Monday, March 30 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, exclusively in Canada on Comedy. After many teasers, and a much-talked about taping March 16 in Los Angeles, viewers can finally tune in as Hollywood A-listers including rap superstars Snoop Dogg and Ludacris, athlete Shaquille O’Neal, and renowned TV personality Martha Stewart, poke and skewer the pop star in this cringe-worthy, one-hour special. Also helping to keep Bieber in the hot seat are comedians Hannibal Buress (BROAD CITY), Chris D’Elia, Natasha Leggero, and the Grand Poobah of roasts himself, Jeffrey Ross. Recent additions to the Roast include SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE’s Pete Davidson, and a surprise appearance by San Diego’s classiest anchorman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell). Comedian Kevin Hart (The Wedding Ringer) serves as Roast Master for all the #BieberRoast festivities. **Media Note** – Download photography at bellmedia.ca/pr/tv/comedy In the ROAST OF JUSTIN BEIBER, comedians and celebrities scorched Bieber on a variety of topics targeting his music career, his tumultuous relationship with pop star Selena Gomez, and the famous antics that put him in hot water with the law. - “You are the King Joffrey of Pop.” – Jeffrey Ross
- “Selena Gomez couldn’t be here tonight. Just because she didn’t want to be here.” – Kevin Hart
- “This kid has spunk, moxie, and a few other STDs.” – Will Ferrell as Ron Burgundy
- “I’m proud of you. You have it all. You are literally a guy who has it all, except for respect, love, friends, good parents, and a Grammy®.” – Chris D’Elia
