About Jeff Hutcheson:
With four decades of reporting under his belt, Hutcheson has been live on national television from every corner of Canada and many destinations around the world. Jeff has introduced the country to the scenic sites, favourite festivals, and some of the most interesting people in the country.
A well-known personality across the country, viewers remember his cross-Canada RV adventure “The Ultimate Road Trip” and his “Breakfast with Jeff” series, which took him to communities across Canada to showcase their Canadian charitable spirit.
Hutcheson began his career in 1976 at CKCO-TV in Kitchener, presently known as CTV Kitchener. After working there for 20 years, he began working part-time for CANADA AM in 1992, moving to the show in a permanent capacity in August 1998.
Hutcheson works in his community by supporting many charities and across Canada including Halifax’s IWK Hospital and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada.
He is also a published author of two books – bestsellers Best of Canada and Best of Atlantic Canada.
