TORONTO (January 20, 2022) – Canada’s top women’s curling teams hit the ice on TSN as the 2022 SCOTTIES TOURNAMENT OF HEARTS – one of the network’s 60+ championship events – kicks off Friday, Jan. 28 and culminates with the final on Sunday, Feb. 6. Eighteen teams compete for the SCOTTIES title and the opportunity to represent Canada in in the upcoming WORLD WOMEN’S CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP, airing on TSN, TSN.ca, and the TSN app from March 19-27. Play-by-play announcer Vic Rauter delivers the call from Fort William Gardens in Thunder Bay, Ont., alongside analysts Cheryl Bernard, a 2010 Olympic silver medallist; Cathy Gauthier, a three-time SCOTTIES champion; and Russ Howard, a two-time BRIER and WORLD MEN’S CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP winner and 2006 Olympic gold medallist. CURLING DAY IN CANADA on TSN TSN’s fan-favourite, hour-long special celebrating CURLING DAY IN CANADA airs Saturday, Feb. 5 at 5 p.m. ET on TSN, TSN.ca, and the TSN app, immediately following the first page playoff at the SCOTTIES.
