TORONTO (April 23, 2025) – CTV News brings Canadians the most comprehensive coverage of the nation’s 45th federal election with primetime special ELECTION 2025, on Monday, April 28 beginning at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT. The special is available on CTV, CTV News Channel, BNN Bloomberg, CP24, iHeartRadio Canada NewsTalk stations, and is streaming with no subscription or sign-in required on CTV.ca, CTVNews.ca, and the CTV and CTV News apps, as well as the CTV News YouTube page. The ELECTION 2025 special is led by CTV’s Chief News Anchor and Senior Editor Omar Sachedina and Chief Political Correspondent Vassy Kapelos, host of CTV’s marquee political programs POWER PLAY and QUESTION PERIOD. Joining Sachedina and Kapelos in studio are CTV NATIONAL NEWS anchors Sandie Rinaldo and Heather Butts, alongside CTV YOUR MORNING’s Anne-Marie Mediwake.
