CHOM 97 7 Celebrates Moist’s New Album with Private Concert

MONTRÉAL (October 8, 2014) —Tonight at 7 p.m., CHOM 97 7 will celebrate the launch of Moist’s new album, Glory under Dangerous Skies, with a private concert in the Rock Room. The exclusive event marks the first performance by the Montréal rockers featuring brand-new material from their new album, freshly released just yesterday.

Around 100 lucky CHOM 97 7 listeners will be attending this very special rock ‘n’ roll extravaganza after winning free passes.

Moist will be opened by two fellow Montréal-based groups, Sunfields and John Jacob Magistery. The event is another example of CHOM 97 7’s role as a leader in Montréal’s local rock scene. In fact, during the past three years, Montréal’s top rock station has successfully re-established a close relationship with homegrown artists — and this interest in the Montréal scene goes beyond what the station broadcasts on air.

CHOM 97 7 is also an official partner of Moist’s cross-Canada tour, which begins November 7.
