One of America’s most beloved comedians of all time, Bill Cosby has captivated generations of fans with his comedy routines, iconic albums, and best-selling books including Fatherhood. Transcending ages, genders, and cultures with his comedy, Cosby overcame television’s racial obstacles by becoming the first African-American to co-star on a drama series with the three-time Emmy® Award-winning I SPY. Later, Cosby created and produced the Emmy® Award-winning cartoon series FAT ALBERT AND THE COSBY KIDS, which began airing in the 1970s, and then produced into a film in 2004. The series was based on Cosby’s childhood in Philadelphia, designed to educate and entertain. Perhaps Cosby’s greatest contribution to American entertainment and culture is THE COSBY SHOW. Following a close-knit, upper middle income family, the ground-breaking and beloved series ran from 1984-1992. Cosby has received the Kennedy Center Honors, the Presidential Medal of Freedom (America’s highest civilian honour), the Mark Twain Prize for American Humour, and the Marian Anderson Award.
Darryl M. Bell, Judi Marmel, Robert Hartmann, and Stu Schreiberg are Executive Producers of BILL COSBY: FAR FROM FINISHED, a production of Levity Productions.
