TORONTO (February 26, 2016) CraveTV today announced it has exclusively acquired the new documentary 50 FEET FROM SYRIA, a gripping and timely snapshot in time that provides a glimpse into the plight of Syrian refugees and the human cost of one of the most brutal, dehumanizing conflicts in modern history. Launching Friday, March 4, and anchoring the CraveTV Documentaries Collection, the film from international distributor Hiltz Squared Media follows Syrian-born, American orthopedic surgeon Hisham Bismar who travels to the Turkish border to volunteer to operate on victims of the civil war. With a suitcase full of donated stainless steel bone implants, he arrives at a Turkish hospital ready for anything.
