19-2 – Seasons 1&2 (also streams in The Drama Collection)
A richly-nuanced character-driven drama,
19-2 follows the lives of patrol officers Ben Chartier (Jared Keeso, FALLING SKIES) and Nick Barron (Adrian Holmes, ARROW). Nick is a veteran on Montreal’s urban police force and has just returned from a three-month leave following the traumatic shooting of his partner. On his first day back, he is unhappy to learn he has been partnered with Ben, who has just transferred from a small town to restart his life in the big city. Both men are good cops, who deeply care about the job, yet struggle to move beyond painful events in their past. Ben and Nick must attempt to put their differences aside as their lives further intertwine, both professionally and personally, and continue to take surprising and dramatic turns.
THE AMAZING RACE CANADA – Seasons 1-3 (also streams in The Reality Collection and The Action Collection)
Teams embark on an adventure of a lifetime, all vying for the grand prize at the finish line. Canada’s most-watched television series on record is jam packed non-stop, action-packed adventure, as the racers travel across Canada and the world in the hopes of being the last team standing. Hosted by Olympic Gold Medallist Jon Montgomery, the series pits teams, each comprised of two members with a pre-existing relationship, against each other.
CORNER GAS – Seasons 1-6 (also streams in The Comedy Collection)
Gemini-nominated comedian Brent Butt returns to small town Saskatchewan to portray the life he would have led had he gotten a real job: pumping gas. Butt plays Brent LeRoy, owner of “Corner Gas,” the local gas station in Dog River, Saskatchewan. Conveniently attached to the town’s only coffee shop, “Corner Gas” is the only stop for miles around and a hub of action on the Prairies. Populated by a group of regular folks who get up to a whole lot of nothing in the middle of nowhere, Dog River is a place where everyone knows everyone else’s business, a place where people have their own, very unique way of solving the problems that come their way. Among Dog River’s many “distinguished” residents: Brent’s parents Oscar and Emma (Eric Peterson and Janet Wright), his best friend Hank (Fred Ewanuick), police officers Davis (Lorne Cardinal) and Karen (Tara Spencer-Nairn), coffee shop proprietor Lacey (Gabrielle Miller) and grocer Wanda (Nancy Robertson).
LETTERKENNY – Season 1 (also streams in The Comedy Collection)
LETTERKENNY revolves around the dustups Wayne (Jared Keeso) and his fellow Hicks have with the rival groups in town. The residents of Letterkenny belong to one of three groups: the Hicks, the Skids, and the Hockey Players, who are constantly feuding with each other over seemingly trivial matters that often end with someone getting their ass kicked. Wayne, Daryl, Dan, and Katy are Hicks. The Hockey Players, Reilly and Jonesy, are always ready to take the piss out of The Hicks, while Stewart and Devon, the Skids, are always up to something.
MASTERCHEF CANADA – Season 3 (also streams in The Reality Collection)
MASTERCHEF CANADA gives home cooks a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to demonstrate their skill and passion as they compete for $100,000 and the title of Canada’s next MasterChef. Following a cross-Canada search with thousands of applicants, 40 of the best home cooks are invited to Toronto to present their signature dishes to MASTERCHEF CANADA judges Michael Bonacini (O&B restaurant empire), Alvin Leung (Bo Innovation in Hong Kong), and Claudio Aprile (Origin Restaurants). Each week the home cooks will fight for survival – facing a series of Mystery Box, Pressure Test, and Team Challenges. Designed to test their creativity, knowledge, passion and skill, these culinary challenges will push them to their limits.
MOTIVE – Seasons 1-4 (also streams in The Drama Collection)
An unconventional way to watch a crime unfold, MOTIVE pieces together the clues of a murder as each episode begins by revealing not only the victim, but the killer as well. It’s an intense cat-and-mouse game as the homicide team sets off to piece together clues from the crimes committed. How did they do it? How are the victim and killer connected? What’s the motive? As the mystery unfolds, winding between revealing flashbacks and present time – viewers navigate the twisted and complicated maze of each murder, solving the puzzle alongside Detective Angie Flynn and her team.
ORPHAN BLACK – Season 1-3 (also streams in The Drama Collection)
Sarah (Tatiana Maslany,
Woman in Gold) is an outsider, orphan, and streetwise chameleon with a murky past and a tenuous future. When she witnesses the suicide of a stranger who looks just like her, Sarah assumes Beth’s (Tatiana Maslany) identity, planning to solve all her own problems with a quick score. Instead, Sarah stumbles into a kaleidoscopic mystery. The truth is they are
clones, and there are more out there, genetic identicals, planted in unsuspecting birth parents and nurtured in wildly different circumstances. They have no idea who created them, or why, but they need to find out in a hurry ? because an assassin is killing them, one by one.
SOUTHPARK – Season 19 (also streams in The Comedy Collection )
Set in a small town nestled in the Colorado Rockies, the critically acclaimed animated series, SOUTH PARK, is breathtakingly irreverent and ruthlessly funny. Created by comic geniuses, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the adult-oriented series features the misadventures of four eight-year old boys whose everyday lives regularly intersect with world events and include elements of the paranormal, the mythical and the divine. Five-time Emmy
® Award-winner SOUTH PARK returns with 10 all-new episodes. Last season, the foul-mouthed fourth-graders launched a Kickstarter campaign, discovered Randy’s true passion, flew a drone and explored the world of virtual reality. Tune in to see what Cartman, Kyle, Stan and Kenny get into this season.
