With Canada’s 151st birthday celebration around the corner, the dash to secure the perfect patriotic plan is well underway. For Canadians looking to inject even more Canadiana into their long weekend plans, below are some must-see homegrown hits streaming on CraveTV: 1. LETTERKENNY What better way to celebrate Canada than with a three-day binge-fest of small-town scuffles and Puppers Premium Lager. An all-new six-pack of LETTERKENNY episodes drops on Friday, June 29. CraveTV remains home to the entire LETTERKENNY library of previous episodes, the “Ferda Edition”, three seasonal specials, and the original web series, Letterkenny Problems. 2. LONG TIME RUNNING From award-winning directors Jennifer Baichwal and Nicholas De Pencier, LONG TIME RUNNING chronicles The Tragically Hip’s iconic 2016 Man Machine Poem tour and emotional final concert in their hometown of Kingston, ON. Viewers are given a unique and exclusive look at the band’s world through interviews, intimate behind-the-scenes moments, fan testimonials, audience experience, and performance footage. 3. CORNER GAS Fans can fill their tanks with all 107 episodes of the iconic, small town comedy CORNER GAS and the feature film CORNER GAS: THE MOVIE from creator, executive producer and star Brent Butt. Season 1 of Butt’s smash-hit new series CORNER GAS ANIMATED drops on CraveTV on Friday, July 6. 4. CraveTV Original Stand-Up Specials Debuting on CraveTV earlier this year, DARCY MICHAEL GOES TO CHURCH, DEBRA DIGIOVANNI: HERE’S THE THING, and GRAHAM CHITTENDEN: RELUCTANT ADULT are CraveTV’s first original stand-up comedy specials. Produced in partnership with Just For Laughs, the one-hour specials were filmed at Toronto’s Berkeley Church during last fall’s JFL42 Festival. 5. 19-2 Rounding out the list is CraveTV’s four season collection of award-winning, Canadian crime-drama 19-2. Based on the Québec series of the same name, 19-2 is a richly-nuanced and character-driven drama surrounding the daily lives of two unwilling partners of the Montreal Police Department, Officers Nick Barron (Adrian Holmes) and Ben Chartier (Jared Keeso).
