TORONTO (September 28, 2020)  CTV announced today a new brand partnership with Naked Grape wines. Entitled LOVE IN 60, the custom content follows a single’s journey to find love over a span of five sponsored segments debuting during the penultimate Season 2 episode of LOVE ISLAND, airing Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 8 p.m. ET on CTV. Hosted by ETALK and THE SOCIAL’s Lainey Lui and presented by Naked Grape, LOVE IN 60 brings speed dating to a new level when four charismatic singles – one dater and three matches – search for love in 60-second blocks. The journey begins with an introduction from Lui of the dater who is matched up with three singles, getting a one-on-one, 60-second, unfiltered #NakedTruth date with each. After all three dates are completed, the dater choses the person whose social bubble they would love to burst into. In the final segment, the dater’s selection is revealed and viewers will find out if the feeling is mutual, or if the dater will be left solo. The segments will also air on ETALK’s Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts. “A first-of-its-kind, LOVE IN 60 showcases our ability to tailor campaigns for Canadian brands while complementing CTV’s programming,” said Justin Stockman, Vice-President, Brand Partnerships and Client Strategy. “We’re thrilled to be working with Naked Grape on this unique partnership that continues to demonstrate our strength as Canada’s leading content creation company.” “The naked truth is that finding love during lockdown has been challenging,” said Wendy Montgomery, Vice-President, Marketing, Core Brands at Arterra Wines Canada. “Naked Grape wines are all about being real and we’re excited to bring that to life in an unexpected and playful way with the integration of LOVE IN 60 during LOVE ISLAND.” LOVE ISLAND is the sizzling summer series based on the international smash hit and cultural phenomenon. The matchmaking began as a group of single “Islanders” come together in a stunning villa in Las Vegas, ready to embark on a summer of dating, romance, and ultimately, relationships. Every few days the Islanders paired up and those who do not couple up are at risk of being dumped from the island. Islanders are on the lookout for romance, but the road to love doesn’t always run smoothly. Challenges abound with intriguing new Islander arrivals and dramatic twists as friendships and relationships form. In addition to choosing their partners wisely, Islanders must also win the hearts of viewers who have the opportunity to shape events on screen and ultimately crown one lucky couple the winner who will then have the chance to walk away with both love and the cash prize.
