  TORONTO (April 29, 2020) – CTV Comedy Channel celebrates Mother’s Day by shining the spotlight on the moms of some of the funniest people in the world in an all-new documentary special, CALL YOUR MOTHER, Sunday, May 10 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Directed by Oscar®-nominated filmmakers Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady (Jesus Camp, Freakonomics: The Movie), and with Caroline Hirsch, founder and owner of the iconic New York comedy club Carolines on Broadway and the New York Comedy Festival, as executive producer, the 90-minute special is packed with interviews and anecdotes from A-list comedians, including Emmy® winner Louie Anderson, Golden Globe® winner Awkwafina, Golden Globe nominee David Spade, and Emmy nominee Tig Notaro. From simple voicemails and inside jokes, heartbreaking losses, and the compromises made supporting a challenging career choice, comedians openly share personal stories and affectionate memories about their moms.
