CTV Earns Its Wings with Acquisition of The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Holiday Special
— November 12, 2018
Are you ready for sun kissed makeup, sky-high stilettos and whimsical sets? The world’s most-watched, most-talked about runway show is coming to CTV and here’s four reasons to watch on Sunday, Dec 2 at 10 p.m. ET.
For the first time, Canadian fashion model Winnie Harlow will dazzle the iconic runway, making history as the first model with vitiligo to do so. She will be joined by internationally known models Kendall Jenner and sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid as well as Victoria’s Secret Angels Candice Swanepoel, Jasmine Tookes, and Behati Prinsloo as part of the 60 chosen models to strut down the runway.
Canadian singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes and THE LAUNCH’s Bebe Rexha join The Chainsmokers, Halsey, Kelsea Ballerini, Leela James, Rita Ora, and The Struts in a star-studded musical lineup that perfectly fuses fashion, fantasy and entertainment.
The Big Apple
After a hiatus, with recent productions in London, Paris, and Shanghai, the show returns to New York City in a transformed Pier 94, for what is said to be the biggest show to date.
The 2018 Dream Angels Fantasy Bra
This year, veteran angel Elsa Hosk will wear the Atelier Swarovski designed 2018 Dream Angels Fantasy Bra, valued at $1 million USD. The fantasy bra and body chain contains over 2,100 Swarovski created diamonds, more than 71 carats including the center piece, and took over 930 hours to create.
THE VICTORIA’S SECRET FASHION SHOW HOLIDAY SPECIAL pre-taped this past Thursday and will air Sunday, Dec 2 at 10 p.m. ET on CTV.
