MONTRÉAL (February 15, 2018) – Beginning this Monday, Feb. 19, Montréal’s #1 English-language station, CTV Montreal, is expanding its news production by delivering regular morning news updates on CTV’s flagship morning program – and Montréal’s #1 morning show YOUR MORNING, weekdays from 6-9 a.m. ET. Veteran reporter and anchor Caroline Van Vlaardingen contributes locally focused news, weather, and traffic updates every half hour beginning at 6:25 a.m. ET. “I’m looking forward to waking up with Montréalers every weekday on YOUR MORNING,” said Van Vlaardingen. “Viewers trust our news team, and it’s great to extend that relationship to the early morning, when our audience depends on local news, weather, and traffic to start their day.” The addition of local morning news updates comes just six months after the expansion of CTV Montreal’s early-evening newscast, CTV NEWS AT FIVE leading into Montréal’s #1 source for live, local, breaking news, CTV NEWS AT SIX. “We’re very excited to expand our news coverage yet again with the addition of locally focused updates in the morning hours,” said Jed Kahane, News Director, CTV Montreal. “Montréalers can now begin each weekday with the most significant local stories from the city’s top news team on YOUR MORNING, Montréal’s #1 morning show.”
