What a difference a year makes following CTVCalgary’s first wakeup call one year ago today when it launched CTVMORNING LIVE on October 24, 2011. Nowan established part of Calgary viewers’ morning routine, Jefferson Humphreys,Aisling Tomei, Pearl Tsang, and Todd Gallant celebrate the first anniversary ofthe show’s inaugural broadcast by reflecting on some very exciting personalfirsts as they raise their mugs of coffee!

Each week, CTV MORNINGLIVE reaches 170,000 Calgarians. The programhas increased its average minute audience by 69% compared to the same time one yearago.
“When we launched our first show I was just acouple weeks away from welcoming my first child and starting a family. Now Ifeel like I have two families,” said co-host and new mom Aisling Tomei. “I feel so lucky to be workingwith so many people who can handle seeing me at 4 a.m. without any makeupon.”
“The best thing about the last year is the greatrelationships I’ve formed. Especially with Avery, the guy who makes thecoffee and saves my life every morning,” said News Anchor Jefferson Humphries.“It’s my dream job, in my hometown, with the best group I’ve ever worked with.Not bad at all!”
Weather Specialist Todd Gallant,who added “Newlywed” to his title, quipped: “Baumgartner [the first man tobreak the sound barrier in freefall from space] mighthave jumped from an altitude of 36 kilometers and fell at a rate of 1,342 km/h,but for the last year, I’ve been getting up at 3:45 a.m. So…we’re even.”
“This past year has made a big difference in my life- mostly in my waistline,” joked Traffic Reporter Pearl Tsang. “I have alsoacquired a mild addiction to coffee. But thank goodness for the wonderful crewand my fellow co-hosts who have made these last 12 months super fun.”
