REGINA (January 16, 2014) – The BBM Canada Fall 2013 Ratings Report confirms that CTV NEWS AT SIX WITH DANELLE BOIVIN AND DAN MACINTOSH is not only Southern Saskatchewan’s most-watched local news by a significant margin, it is the most-watched program on television in the region, adding an exclamation point to CTV Regina’s hold on nine of the Top 10 regularly scheduled programs.

CTV NEWS AT SIX reaches an average of 41,200 viewers each day, more than three times the viewers of all competing local supper newscasts combined. All other CTV newscasts – noon, late, and weekends – are also the clear #1 choices by viewers. CTV MORNING LIVE continues to be Regina’s #1 morning show, with more than double the audience of its nearest competitor.

“Once again, the people of Southern Saskatchewan have given us their tremendous support,” said Carl Worth, News Director for CTV Saskatchewan. “We value our viewers greatly and thank them for their continued confidence in our newsgathering efforts.”

Beyond its success in local news, CTV Regina remains #1 for its popular entertainment programming. BBM reports CTV has nine of the Top 10 regularly scheduled programs in the region.
