HALIFAX (May 16, 2017) – As Nova Scotians get ready to head to the polls later this month, CTV News announced today plans to host a provincial party leaders roundtable ahead of election day. Live from McNally Auditorium at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, ELECTION 2017 ROUNDTABLE hosted by CTV News’ Senior Anchor Steve Murphy airs province-wide on Thursday, May 25 from 6:30 – 8 p.m. on CTV, and livestreamed via atlantic.ctvnews.ca and the CTV News Atlantic Facebook page. The roundtable conversation features leaders from Nova Scotia’s Liberal, Progressive Conservative, and New Democrat parties in a live, town hall-style setting. Murphy will pose questions to Stephen McNeil, Jamie Baillie, and Gary Burrill before taking questions from viewers and a live audience. Members of the public are invited to register for free tickets to this unique event by going to the CTV News Atlantic website. Media are also invited to attend. A photo/video opportunity will be provided prior to the roundtable and the leaders will also be available for comment following the event.
