TORONTO (May 1, 2023) – CTV News provides comprehensive live coverage of King Charles III’s ascension to the throne with the CTV NATIONAL NEWS special THE KING’S CORONATION, airing live from London on Saturday, May 6. The special begins at 4 a.m. ET and airs across CTV, CP24, CTV News Channel, CTVNews.ca, and the CTV and CTV News apps. Led by CTV’s Chief News Anchor and Senior Editor Omar Sachedina live from London, THE KING’S CORONATION showcases the Coronation of Their Majesties – King Charles III and The Queen Consort – starting with the Royal Procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey, and continuing with the Coronation ceremony itself.
