CTV News Regina Announces the 2021 Regina Citizen of the Year

REGINA (December 31, 2021) – CTV News Regina announced tonight during CTV NEWS AT SIX that Sarah Kozusko is the recipient of the 2021 Regina Citizen of the Year Award. “Sarah is an outstanding citizen, and her dedication to her profession as well as her community has provided valuable aid to countless people throughout the region,” said Jeff Bollenbach, General Manager, Manitoba/Saskatchewan, Radio and Television, Bell Media. “Be it the work she does at her pharmacy or her tireless efforts with various organizations in the city, Sarah truly represents what makes someone deserving of this recognition.” Kozusko was born in Regina and graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy and Nutrition. She has spent the last 17 years working to educate her clients as well as creating a safe place to receive support at Queen City Wellness Pharmacy, which she operates as Pharmacy Manager. In the last year, Kozusko ensured efficient distribution of critical vaccines to local organizations, and provided medical care to Regina’s Camp Hope. She and her partner have three children. The Regina Citizen of the Year Award presented by CTV is an annual tradition now in its 19^th year. Each November, CTV Regina accepts nominations from viewers for the Regina Citizen of the Year Award and presents the award at the end of December to an individual who exemplifies excellence in community service.
