VANCOUVER (April XX, 2015) – Next week, from May 4-8, CTV News Vancouver is on a mission to shine a spotlight on BC Women’s Hospital, with “Hope Starts Here”, a special initiative to raise funds for the hospital’s Newborn ICU. As part of its dedicated coverage, CTV MORNING LIVE VANCOUVER, CTV NEWS AT NOON, CTV NEWS AT FIVE, and CTV NEWS AT SIX will be on location at BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre, ushering in the week-long awareness and fundraising campaign. Putting an exclamation point on its week-long showcase, CTV Vancouver will host a special “Block Party For Babies” event, taking place Friday, May 8 from 4-7 p.m. at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody, B.C. (2800 Block Murray St.) Viewers from across Vancouver are invited to attend this free, family-friendly event featuring children’s activities, food, and a live performance by Dr. Strangelove. CTV Vancouver will broadcast live from the event during its CTV NEWS AT FIVE and CTV NEWS AT SIX broadcasts.
