– The special dives in to the deeply personal world of mental health as host Tyrone Edwards connects with leaders, professionals, and celebrities committed to the movement to destigmatize and address mental illness –

TORONTO (January 21, 2022) – CTV announced today an all-new special from Bell Media Studios, ETALK: A BELL LET’S TALK DAY SPECIAL, hosted by ETALK’s Tyrone Edwards, premiering Wednesday, Jan. 26 at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, CTV.ca, the CTV app, and streaming on Crave. Two years into the COVID-19 pandemic, upholding mental health continues to be a priority for Canadians. In ETALK: A BELL LET’S TALK DAY SPECIAL, Edwards explores the stigma, struggles, and triumphs surrounding the mental health issues many Canadians experience. The 30-minute special features discussions with Canadian professionals and personalities, including actress Amanda Brugel, singer/songwriter Theo Tams, and CANADA’S DRAG RACE Season 2 winner Icesis Couture, who share their individual journeys with mental health. Other notable guests include a conversation with Mary Deacon, Chair of Bell Let’s Talk. ETALK: A BELL LET’S TALK DAY SPECIAL continues the crucial conversation about the importance of mental health, featuring themes of diversity and inclusion, as well as highlighting the message that identifying, destigmatizing, and communicating are the first steps to healing. On Bell Let’s Talk Day, Bell donates 5 cents to Canadian mental health programs for every applicable text, local or long distance call, tweet or TikTok video using #BellLetsTalk, every Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitter and YouTube view of the Bell Let’s Talk Day video, and every use of the Bell Let’s Talk Facebook frame or Snapchat lens.
