April showers CTV with the premiere of a special 12-part television event, A.D. THE BIBLE CONTINUES on Easter Sunday – the biblical mini-series from executive producers Roma Downey (THE BIBLE) and Mark Burnett (THE VOICE). In advance of the Season 5 premiere of HBO Canada’s GAME OF THRONES, ETALK PRESENTS: GAME OF THRONES features exclusive cast interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and exclusive sneak peeks from the new season. Below is a chronological listing of detailed highlights for April 1 – 15. All programming is subject to change (visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times).  Wednesday, April 1 8 p.m. – ARROW – “Public Enemy” – NEW EPISODE During an attack on the mayor’s office, Ray (Brandon Routh) is critically injured, and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is pleasantly surprised when her mother, Donna Smoak (Charlotte Ross, NYPD BLUE), shows up at the hospital to offer her support. With the SCPD out in full force looking for the assailant, Oliver (Stephen Amell) and his team work hard to stay one step ahead of the police to find the man responsible. However, things come to a head when Ra’s al Ghul (Matt Nable, Riddick) kidnaps Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne). 9 p.m. – LAW & ORDER SVU – “Devastating Story” – NEW EPISODE Popular television host Skip Peterson (Rob Morrow, NUMB3RS) airs an interview with college student Heather Manning (Ally Ioannides, Served Cold), who claims she was gang raped in a fraternity house. While the tragic account of Heather’s story brings national attention to the epidemic of rape on campus, the sensational details of the she-said, they-said case leaves Sgt. Benson (Mariska Hargitay), and ADA Barba (Raul Esparza) with several suspects and a rocky trial. Thursday, April 2 7 p.m. – GREY’S ANATOMY – “When I Grow Up” – NEW EPISODE A school field trip to the hospital takes a dramatic turn when the kids witness two injured cops enter the emergency room. Meanwhile, Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) sets her eyes on one of the chaperones, while Callie (Sara Ramirez) operates on the leg of the police captain, and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) must face her feelings for Owen (Kevin McKidd). 8 p.m. – THE BIG BANG THEORY – “The Skywalker Incursion” – NEW EPISODE When Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) are invited to speak at UC Berkeley, they take a detour to try to meet an idol. Also, Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and Howard (Simon Helberg) battle over the fate of his Dr. Who TARDIS, and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) offer to settle the dispute with a game of ping pong. 8:30 p.m. – THE ODD COUPLE – “The Wedding Deception” – NEW EPISODE When Oscar (Matthew Perry) and Felix (Thomas Lennon) attend the wedding of an old college friend, Oscar aims to reconnect with an old flame while Felix is determined to show his ex-wife (Christine Woods, HELLO LADIES) that he’s a changed man. 9:30 p.m. – THE GOLDBERGS – “The Adam Bomb” – NEW EPISODE When Erica (Hayley Orrantia) gets inspired to put college on hold in favour of pursuing a singing career, Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) worries Erica will be disappointed if her dream does not come true. She puts Murray (Jeff Garlin) up to the task of having a talk about her future, with a surprising result. Meanwhile, Adam (Sean Giambrone) and Barry (Troy Gentile) get into an epic war that starts as an April Fools’ joke but ends with more repercussions. SNL alum Ana Gasteyer reprises her role as drama teacher Miss Cinoman. 10 p.m. – AMERICAN CRIME – “Episode Five” – NEW EPISODE Soon after Carter (Elvis Nolasco) is released on bail, he and Aubry (Caitlin Gerard) reunite. In a desperate attempt to keep him from facing trial and possible execution, she cuts his ankle bracelet and forces him to make a run for the Canadian border. Meanwhile, after Matt’s (Grant Merritt) funeral in Oakland, Mark (David Hoflin) finally has the courage tell Barb (Felicity Huffman) that he is engaged to a woman she may not approve of. Friday, April 3 7 p.m. – ETALK PRESENTS: GAME OF THRONES – SPECIAL PRESENTATION Winter is coming as ETALK presents a special half-hour episode that celebrates HBO’s epic fantasy series, GAME OF THRONES. ETALK reporter Devon Soltendieck takes fans deep inside the series with exclusive features that include: interviews with cast members Kit Harington, Alfie Allen, Sophie Turner, Liam Cunningham, and more, plus introductions to Season 5 newcomers Deobia Oparei (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides), Alexander Siddig (DA VINCI’S DEMONS), Jessica Henwick (INSPECTOR LEWIS), and Rosabell Laurenti Sellers(The Dinner); a behind-the-scenes look at filming locations including Croatia, Ireland, and Iceland; exclusive sneak peeks of the new season; and much more. GAME OF THRONES Season 5 premieres Sunday, April 12 at 9 p.m. ET/MT on HBO Canada. 8 p.m. – THE AMAZING RACE – “Get In That Lederhosen, Baby” – NEW EPISODE Racers strap on lederhosen for a trip to Oktoberfest in Bavaria, Germany, and one team finds their race in jeopardy after losing their fanny pack. 9 p.m. – GRIMM – “Heartbreaker” – NEW EPISODE – NEW TIME A cyclist’s homicide introduces Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) to a Wesen with a tragic fatal touch. Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) and Adalind (Claire Coffee) learn the Royals have stepped up their efforts to find their child, and another member of the Royal family (Nico Evers-Swindell, MANHATTAN LOVE STORY) is introduced. Meanwhile, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) ponders the idea of embracing what she’s become as opposed to fighting it. 10 p.m. – BLUE BLOODS –“Through the Looking Glass” – NEW EPISODE Frank (Tom Selleck) goes toe to toe with investigative journalist Anne Farrell (Leslie Hope, NCIS), who refuses to give up her source, despite the source confessing to committing murder. Also, Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) is paired with a troubled teenager as part of an NYPD program aimed at influencing youth to make better decisions. Saturday, April 4 7 p.m. – W5 – “Til Death Do Us Part” – NEW EPISODE W5 follows the story of a woman whose attempt to hire a hit man to kill her husband set off an unpredictable legal case. Sunday, April 5 7 p.m. – MASTERCHEF CANADA – “Wedding on the Waves” – NEW EPISODE The home cooks face their biggest team challenge yet: catering a beautiful Harbour Cruise wedding. They are tasked with creating stunning French-inspired canapés, appetizers, and main dishes for the bride, groom, and their wedding guests. Back in the MASTERCHEF CANADA kitchen, the losing team faces a Pressure Test that stars another French specialty – a technique-driven dessert that separates at least one home cook from their culinary dream. 9 p.m. – A.D. THE BIBLE CONTINUES – “The Tomb is Open” – SERIES PREMIERE From executive producers Roma Downey (THE BIBLE) and Mark Burnett (THE VOICE), the 12-part television event A.D. THE BIBLE CONTINUES depicts one of the greatest stories ever told, exploring the inspiring events that followed the Crucifixion of Christ. In the premiere episode, High Priest Caiaphas (Richard Coyle) and Governor Pilate (Vincent Regan, THE ROYALS) crucified Jesus (Juan Pablo di Pace) to restore order in Jerusalem. For Peter (Adam Levy) and the disciples, it is their darkest hour. A.D. THE BIBLE CONTINUES is the sequel to the smash hit THE BIBLE mini-series. 10 p.m. – MOTIVE – “The Suicide Tree” – NEW EPISODE When an armored car robber drops dead in the middle of a heist, Detectives Angie Flynn (Kristin Lehman), Oscar Vega (Louis Ferreira), and Brian Lucas (Brendan Penny) follow the clues to an unassuming florist. The team comes together to support Dr. Rogers (Lauren Holly) after a security breach shakes her confidence. Monday, April 6 9 p.m. – FOREVER – “Best Foot Forward” – NEW EPISODE The uber-competitive and passionate backstage world of ballet is the backdrop for Henry (Ioan Gruffudd) and Jo’s (Alana De La Garza) next murder investigation. When a severed human foot encased in a blood-soaked ballet shoe turns up in a bin at the theatre, Henry and the detectives race against the clock to find the body in this high-profile case. Flashbacks to 1929 Paris reveal Henry’s emotional experience with a female sculptor friend when drugs collided with the pressure of artistic inspiration. Meanwhile, things have heated up a little too quickly between Jo and Isaac (Academy Award® winner Cuba Gooding, Jr., Selma) for Jo’s taste, but Henry encourages her to overcome her fear of being hurt and take a chance on finding love. Tuesday, April 7 9 p.m. – MARVEL’S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D – “Afterlife” – NEW EPISODE As Robert Gonzales (Edward James Olmos) makes his move, Director Coulson (Clark Gregg) must do whatever it takes to protect the future of S.H.I.E.L.D. Meanwhile, Skye’s (Chloe Bennet) journey to control her powers takes a surprising turn when she meets the enigmatic Inhuman named Lincoln (Luke Mitchell, THE TOMORROW PEOPLE). 10 p.m. – PERSON OF INTEREST – “Search and Destroy” – NEW EPISODE Reese (Jim Caviezel) and Finch (Michael Emerson) scramble to protect software CEO Rajiv Khan (Aasif Mandvi, Million Dollar Arm) when his behaviour becomes increasingly erratic following a hacker attack that reveals all his secrets and unravels his life. Wednesday, April 8 9 p.m. – CRIMINAL MINDS – “Beyond Boarders” – NEW EPISODE When a family of four is abducted while on vacation in Barbados, the BAU is called to assist Unit Chief Jack Garrett (Gary Sinise, CSI: NY) and his international unit on their investigation. Garrett and his unit, the FBI’s top division for handling cases involving Americans abroad, work jointly with Hotch (Thomas Gibson) and his team when they discover that this case matches one the BAU investigated last year in Florida. 10 p.m. – CSI: CYBER – “Crowd Sourced”– NEW EPISODE The Cyber team must track down a bomber fixated on revealing the “truth” about society’s overreliance on technology. Thursday, April 9 7 p.m. – GREY’S ANATOMY – “Crazy Love” – NEW EPISODE Upon realizing that Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) have been seeing each other behind her back, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) comes down hard on her sister-in-law causing Amelia to rethink things. Meanwhile, Dr. Catherine Avery (Debbie Allen, FAME) springs into action when a man is brought into the hospital after his wife seeks revenge on his cheatings ways. 8 p.m. – THE BIG BANG THEORY– NEW EPISODE Synopsis currently unavailable. 8:30 p.m. – THE ODD COUPLE –“Heal Thyself” – NEW EPISODE Felix’s (Thomas Lennon) hypochondria kicks into overdrive when Oscar (Matthew Perry) starts dating the most important person in Felix’s life – his doctor (Erinn Hayes, CHILDRENS HOSPITAL). 9:30 p.m. – THE GOLDBERGS – “I Drank the Mold” – NEW EPISODE During his birthday sleepover planned by Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey), Adam’s (Sean Giambrone) friend Garry (Nathan Gamble) shares his dad’s home-brewed beer and gets everyone sick. Meanwhile, Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett-Smith) plots her escape from the Dollmaker (Colm Feore, THE BORGIAS), and Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) and Selina (Camren Bicondova) confront Reggie (David O’Hara, LUTHER).
