9 p.m. – ORPHAN BLACK – “Certain Agony of the Battlefield”– NEW TO CTV
Paul (Dylan Bruce) digs and finds the ugly truth behind the Castor Boys’ logbooks of names, pushing him into action. Meanwhile, Felix (Jordan Gavaris) is desperate for info on Sarah’s (Tatiana Maslany) whereabouts, and presses the still-ailing Rachel (Maslany) for any shred of a lead. In order for Donnie (Kristian Bruun) and Alison (Maslany) to take their money-making endeavor to the “next level” she must introduce Jason Kellerman (Justin Chatwin, SHAMELESS) to her unique business plan.
10 p.m. – BITTEN – “Nine Circles” – NEW TO CTV
Aleister (Sean Rogerson) casts a mind-bending spell on Elena (Laura Vandervoort), forcing her into a battle against her own dark fears and demons. Meanwhile, Rachael (Genelle Williams, WAREHOUSE 13) is locked in a cage with Logan (Michael Xavier), struggling to come to terms with what he is. In a nearby forest, Clay (Greyston Holt) and Paige (Tommie-Amber Pirie) must overcome their personal differences in order to find Aleister’s compound.

When Nathan (Will Arnett) decides he should have a better relationship with his niece Mikayla (Lulu Wilson), he agrees to use his celebrity status to help Debbie (Jayma Mays) and Adam (Nelson Franklin) get her into a popular school. Nelson (Al Mukadam) finds himself out of step with the latest trends and goes to great lengths to be hip again. When Bryce (J.P. Manoux) puts out a comments and questions Box at Manion’s, Abby (Holly Deveaux) decides to turn it into the bar’s newest attraction, ‘Beer Abby’.

Melanie (Valerie Bertinelli), feeling smothered by her boyfriend Jack (Rhys Darby,

Also, unbeknownst to the rest of the team, Mitch (Billy Burke) reconnects with his terminally ill daughter in Boston as he prepares to make a trade with Reiden-Global to save her life.

Wednesday, August 19
8 p.m. – MASTERCHEF –“A Storm’s A Brewing”– NEW EPISODE
In the next Mystery Box challenge, the remaining home cooks must create a dish using coffee as one of the main ingredients. The winner of the challenge receives a significant advantage in the next Pressure Test, and will be safe from elimination. Then, during the Pressure Test, contestants team up in pairs as they replicate an elaborate party platter.
9 p.m. – THE AMAZING RACE CANADA – “I Dream About Eating Sandwiches” – NEW EPISODE
Teams race to Canada’s heartland, Saskatoon, where the Road Block has some teams bouncing ahead of the pack, and others falling behind. Tensions drive Brian and Cynthia to the edge, and at the Detour, some teams are spinning in circles, while others jump through hoops to stay in the race.

Austenland) leads to trouble in her relationship with Blair (Brian White,
The Cabin in the Woods) which ultimately brings her closer to Lucy (Corinne Massiah). Karen (Yunjin Kim) tells Alec (Ed Quinn) and Vivian (Sonja Bennett,
Preggoland) about the baby and despite Alec’s initial shock there seems to be some hope that they can form a modern kind of family, until Vivian staggers Karen with news of her own. Daniel’s mysterious tape turns out to be surveillance from the neighbour’s camera which proves to complicate matters for Calista (Jennifer Esposito).
Saturday, August 22
9 p.m. – ORPHAN BLACK – “Community of Dreadful Fear and Hate”– NEW TO CTV
Alison (Tatiana Maslany) must secure a store front in order to take her and Donnie’s (Kristian Bruun) business to the “next level”. But things don’t go according to plan when her mother, Connie (Sheila McCarthy, LITTLE MOSQUE ON THE PRARIE), proves to be a major hindrance. Cosima (Maslany) is facing familiar health issues and calls upon beleaguered Alison for a favour. But with Alison working to save an imperiled Donnie from the merciless hands of a drug lord, it’s Cosima who ends up doing a favour. An unassuming Scott (Josh Vokey,
OutsideIN) gets closer to the greatest discovery of all, when he sits down with Rachel (Maslany).

Each team must complete two appetizer and two entree dishes for guests in a downtown Los Angeles restaurant. The winning team will be safe from elimination, while the losing team must face the next Pressure Test, in which all members of the losing team must prep, cook, and plate three different pasta dishes.

Teams continue their race across Canada and beyond in hopes of winning the biggest grand prize in Canadian television history.
